With effects of the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction still all over us, some of you might enjoy this 'long-read' take on my observations on previous conjunctions. (I Meant to post a week ago, but this one landed on my Sun, so it has my name on it like the last one did in 2010, so life is pretty chaotic in good & bad ways right now!)

I noticed that some of the posts made here lately really weave into the Jupiter-Uranus theme. This is the note I added at the end of that article for my own current observations - anyone care to add points I have missed?

2024 update: oil refinery explosions have become a pronounced theme of the subsequent 2024 Uranus-Jupiter conjunction, largely as a result of the Ukraine-USSR war and targeted drone attacks on Russian power supplies. For example, two very destructive oil depot attacks were launched around 5 am on 24th April as the Uranus-Jupiter conjunction was partile at 22° Taurus, against a background of Mars conjunct Saturn in Pisces. The same period also brought a spate of destructive tornados throughout the US and Asia - this BBC report gives links to several global tornado headlines and includes video of the moment a destructive tornado that ripped through China's Guangdong province killed five people and injured 33, damaging over 100 factories after hitting the area's power lines. The other obvious theme of the 2024 conjunction is the disturbance of matters concerning laws and legal issues (naturally signified by Jupiter), and the predominance of headlines about the trials of Donald Trump who has the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus squaring his natal Mars and falling upon the midheaven of his nativity with Uranus due to station upon his MC degree in late January 2025.

the idea of drones used in warfare, especially this nato-russia conflict in ukraine, is a perfect example of how modern technology - and cheap technology, is changing the whole way wars are fought... i do find that especially interesting and in keeping with the themes of uranus and perhaps uranus-jupiter... maybe the 2 planets in pisces tropical - saturn and neptune feed into some of the other focuses you've mentioned.. not sure.... one idea that caught my attention is how the usa is demanding tik tok be sold and not controlled by the chinese - again this is a social media platform with a huge young audience worldwide.. it is having a big impact on what young people are seeing and being exposed to... the intel agencies naturally want to control that in order to control the narrative, so they demand tik tok sells itself or they will cease allowing it on usa soil... i think the energy of tik tok is very uranian and threatening! again - technology and easy access to alternative news sources - information/knowledge via technology - i think that is uranus/jupiter and some in power really don't like it..

Every time Jupiter is conjunct Uranus, a new trend toward social, cultural, religious and psychological transformation begins in the world. At that time, changes in world conditions become necessary and everyone must participate in them. (Alexander Ruperti).
Jupiter is telling us that changes (Uranus) are global, affecting everybody in the world.

Where and how these changes will be manifested is also given by the new cycles of the other planets at the same time.
In Taurus
JU/UR = money, banking system, food supply, agriculture.
In Pisces
MA=SA/NE = Problems through or with gas, air or water. Immigration.
In Aries
VE/Eris in Libra = Fertility, abortion, overpopulation.

We have enough in our plate to tackle a few emergencies here for the next 14 years.

It's been ongoing since about 2013, but this feels very apropos the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, in my opinion: Pope Francis says US Catholic conservatives have 'suicidal attitude'(Reuters)

During the April 24 interview with "60 Minutes" that will air this Sunday, Pope Francis was asked his thoughts on the conservative backlash against his papacy, with many of his critics being American clergy members.

Pope Francis responded by saying a conservative is someone who "clings to something and does not want to see beyond that."

"It is a suicidal attitude," the pontiff said, according to a brief transcript excerpt made available by CBS Thursday.

"Because one thing is to take tradition into account, to consider situations from the past, but quite another is to be closed up inside a dogmatic box."

Pope Francis has clashed with the conservative wing almost since he was elected as head of the church in 2013.

Moves conservatives have opposed include papal attempts to make the church more welcoming to the LGBT community and to give lay people more responsibility in the church.
