i would look to the ruler of the moment itself - mercury in the 8th, using the traditional idea of the ascendant being the most important point in the chart.. as it happens mercury rules over both the ascendant and midheaven in the event chart - if the time is close to exact... mercury in turn is ruled by mars which is in the 7th house of relationships... clearly there is hostility of relationship in the moment which could work out in this way, in a negative sense.. and of course it in turn is driven by ideological differences, which in hindsight is symbolized by jupiter-sun in the 9th squared by moon in the 12th... one could look to the new moon a week prior to this event as having some possible relevance to this... or one could extrapolate off the recent jupiter-uranus conjunction in relation to the chart too seeing as the first quarter square in this event chart lands at the midpoint of jupiter-uranus... perhaps people want an end to this war and are unhappy about its ongoing nature...

but back to your 3rd quadrant question... the 3rd quadrant is an emphasis on the importance of the descendant angle and the whole concept of relationships.... how do we integrate difficult energies, such as mars in pisces in the 7th for example?? and as i look more closely mars is 45 to the sun-jupiter conjunction as well - so it is very much connected to the ideological framework described by sun-jupiter in the 9th house and in taurus.. i tend to think of taurus as a very materialistic sign, but that is certainly not doing it justice... it is about peace and harmony in nature too and perhaps this fits into it all as well... any higher aspirations for peace and harmony in nature are in keeping with the human spirit to find a way to be with others on the planet in a harmonious way... this all breaks down in the way people go about achieving this...

when i think of this event, it makes me think of the importance for finding a resolution to hostilities, or finding an end to them by negotiation and conversation... unfortunately this hasn't been allowed to happen with regard to this conflict that triggered this mans desire to assassinate fico... in this sense the onus of responsibility is on those who aren't interested in finding a resolution, and continue to try to work it out on the battlefield...

in this event chart the sun happens to rule the 12th house, so perhaps the sun-jupiter conjunction and all the other patterns which include the sun, have some unintended consequences of a negative sort, such as this assassination attempt... that would seem to be the case, but again - my commentary is in retrospect.. perhaps it doesn't help the ruler of sun and jupiter in taurus is venus in aries which is also in the 8th.. perhaps an ideological selfcenteredness must be taken into consideration in all this.. that would go back to considering the person who perpetrated this act of violence and we would need a chart for that..

below is a noon chart in sidereal for the fellow - juraj cintula who attempted to assassinate robert fico, slovakia's prime minister..



a few things about his natal chart, bearing in mind i am using a noon time for him in the absence of a specific time...
he is born close to, or around the time of a full moon.. he has a fairly close mars-uranus square in his natal chart, and the transiting nodal axis was highlighting this configuration just prior to the time of this event.. he also has a natal venus in close opposition to saturn-neptune conjunction from 1953... it is hard to know just what the trigger from his chart was, although it is said he was planning this for a good month... another connection is the return of mars to its natal place in his chart.. it was approaching and 5 degrees short.. in other words, t mars would be applying to a conjunction to the transiting north node and close to his natal mars as well... his natal mercury was experiencing the long transit of neptune, but at the time - it is approx 1 degree conjunction his natal mercury, depending on the specific time of his birth...

i got his birth date off an article i read which gave his full name and some of his background.. i then went to wikipedia where there is a page on him which needs to be translated in order to read it, but on this page, his birthdate was included..

I think that this fixation on the hierarchy of interpretation sun, AC, moon or AC, sun, moon does not always reflect reality well.

You published siderically at the event, which I initially overlooked when reading diagonally and where I am not an expert anyway.

The ascendant of the event in the classic sense is at 26 degrees Virgo, very close to the 0 degree Libra point, where often everything suddenly changes. That is the MC of the viccim?

I am not an expert on the political situation in Slovakia. But, for all I know about it, the assassination would have to have a classic Mars-Pluto and/or Mars-Jupiter focus.

I would like to emphasize once again: If you look at the radix of the victim, then at this time Mars releases in house 8, coming from house 5.

we don't know the birth time for the pm fico, so anything that is said, it based off other considerations, along with a consideration for his natal chart without a specific time... as i pointed out earlier - there is a fairly close mars-pluto 45 in his natal chart and this was activated by the transiting mercury-pluto square.... in this regard, what is contained in the natal chart has bearing on the events of a persons life.. this supports this observation..

My take on the 3rd quarter is in agreement with some addition for elements of 'grandiosity' on behalf of the perpetrator hence the combust jupiterian/9th house theme at large in the event chart. We all have the capacity to change the course of history in the direction it should rightly take if not for the pathetic meddling of pesky inconvenient politicians, however most of us are content to eschew any opportunities to 'help them on their way' in favour of wearily letting time and tide continue in taking a more gently winding & natural course. Otherwise Keir Starmer would now be hidden underground thus releasing sufferers from having to listen to the spouting nonsense of his relentless nasal whine.
