Will he publicly declare support for the KMT presidential candidate?

This Saturday, January 13th, Taiwan is set to hold its once-every-four-years presidential election (alongside legislative elections).

The person in question is Terry Gou.

Terry Gou is the founder of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Foxconn), and he held the position of Taiwan's wealthiest person for many years. Born in Banqiao, Taipei County, he has ancestral roots in Jincheng County, Shanxi Province. In 1974, he founded Hon Hai. He was actively involved in political contributions to the KMT. In 2019, he participated in the KMT presidential primary but was not nominated. Subsequently, he aligned with other political parties and announced his independent candidacy for the 2024 Republic of China (Taiwan) presidential election on August 28, 2023, only to withdraw on November 24, 2023.

I am the querent, Terry Gou is represented by the 7th house.

I have no direct involvement in this matter; my inquiry stems from curiosity and sympathy for Terry Gou's political setbacks. With an ascendant in Libra at 29 degrees and 09 minutes, in conjunction with Saturn's antiscion within 3 degrees orb, I am uncertain if the horary horoscope (higher spirituality) will answer my question. If we consider the ascendant's conjunction with Saturn's antiscion, reflecting the descendant's conjunction with Saturn's contra-antiscia it seems to pose an obstacle to his public declaration of support for the KMT.

In 2023, Terry Gou's application to run for president and the process of obtaining candidacy through petition signatures involved several rumors and disputes. These included PRC's sudden tax investigations into his companies in China, multiple instances of bribery during the presidential nomination petition, and the dramatic Grand Hyatt Hotel meeting (worldwide live-streamed negotiations between political parties). Ultimately, he withdrew his candidacy on the last day of registration. These events are indicated by the Mars square Neptune aspect.

Mars and Mercury are in the 3rd house, not the 9th house. The Moon is applying square to Saturn, Mars is sextile with Saturn, and Mars is trine with Jupiter, unfortunately, it is a mutual rejection. Despite the KMT's strong desire and public invitation for Terry Gou to declare support for the KMT presidential candidate, these astrological testimonies lead me to believe that he will not make a public statement and will continue to maintain his current low-profile status.

Pluto precisely conjuncts the IC, giving me the impression that Terry Gou's relationship with the KMT has undergone a complete turnaround, and he will refrain from actively participating in any events related to the 2024 presidential election until the conclusion of the voting.

I prefer not to publicly share these cases as I wish to avoid drawing attention. However, I find myself without friends, feeling quite lonely, and longing for companionship.

I'm uncertain about where to find a more discreet and secure place.

Event Chart: DPP candidate (Lai Ching-te) took over the microphone from the incumbent president (Tsai Ing-wen).

Today, Lai Ching-te held another campaign event near my home. I was initially waiting at the venue, but with Mercury in detriment, the weather too cold, and my stomach too hungry, I decided to head home early. I chose to watch the live broadcast of the campaign event from the comfort of my home, and as a result, Lai Ching-te arrived at the venue 1 hour and 37 minutes later than scheduled.

This marks the time when Lai Ching-te took over the microphone from the current president.

Venus (female president) - Moon (election) - Mercury (Lai Ching-te).

Mercury and the Moon are 3 degrees and 10 minutes apart. Yes, in just 3 days (January 13th), we will know the election results.

Do you think Lai Ching-te will be elected?

In the coming Aries ingress chart, the Saturn Midheaven line passes over the airspace of Taiwan.

Presidents and war

3
I'm unsure whether I should present it because typically, horary charts are not employed to address such significant matters.

My question is about who the president of Taiwan and the United States will be in 2024, and if there will be a war between China and Taiwan.

Image

The answer I have in mind is Lai Ching-te and Biden.

Now, it's confirmed that Lai Ching-te has indeed been elected as predicted.

What remains is the U.S. president; Saturn is in the 4th house (foreign president), and I sense that in 2024, there will still be a competition between two elderly individuals.

My astrological analysis is as follows:

I am currently in Taiwan, where the 10th house represents the position of the President of Taiwan, and the 1st house represents the ruling party. The ruler of the 10th house, Mercury, is conjunct with Mars, and Mercury is retrograde. This indicates that the ruling party will continue in power. The Moon in the 10th house suggests a female presidential candidate (as seen in Lai Ching-te choosing a female vice-presidential candidate). However, due to Mercury being in detriment, the ruling party may not secure a majority in the legislative yuan.

The United States, being a foreign country (other people's countries) for me, is represented by the 7th house, and the 4th house represents the position of the U.S. President. Venus in the 7th house indicates a lag in Biden's popularity in polls. However, the mutual reception between Venus and Jupiter, the ruler of the 10th house, suggests that Biden is likely to continue in office. Venus, as the ruler of the 6th house, represents health issues, and Saturn, representing elderly individuals, raises concerns about Biden's health and aging issues, as anticipated by the public. Venus in Sagittarius represents the thighs, and Saturn in Pisces is associated with walking (feet), indicating that the U.S. President in 2024 might be an elderly person facing mobility challenges. The Moon opposing Saturn suggests that there might not be a female vice-presidential candidate this time.

As for the possibility of war in the Taiwan Strait:

Venus in Scorpio (constellation) and the direct opposition between Scorpio and Orion in the sky suggest that war is unlikely to occur directly. The rising of Scorpio in the east coincides with Orion fleeing from the west. Mars is not in angular houses, indicating no immediate threat of war. Saturn in Pisces in the 4th house suggests a strategy of containment and isolation. Notably, on the second day of Lai's election (January 15), Nauru announced the termination of diplomatic relations with Taiwan in favor of China. The presidential inauguration is on May 20, and with the Aries ingress chart, Saturn's mid-heaven line passes over Taiwan.

=====

After Goritsa Svortsan's reminder, I have revised my astrological analysis.
For me, the President of the United States is considered a foreign leader, with the 9th house representing foreign countries and the 6th house representing the foreign president (the 10th house derived from the 9th house).
Although I "feel" that Biden may continue as the president, I am unsure if my intuition is correct. Additionally, I haven't particularly supported anyone for the position of President of the United States.
Therefore, the 6th house represents the current U.S. president - Biden, and the 12th house (its opposite) represents Biden's challenger.
Venus, the ruling planet of the 6th house, forms a square aspect with Saturn in the 4th house, and the Moon (representing the public) opposes Saturn. Concerns about Biden's aging and health conditions are prominent.
Jupiter is in the 10th house, in a stationary position, and the Moon also is applying trine to Jupiter. I believe ultimately Biden will continue as the U.S. president. Uranus in the 6th house may indicate some unexpected situations.
I feel that this time my logic is a bit clearer. Thank you, Goritsa Svortsan. I appreciate your assistance.

Horary : Establishment of the Palestinian State

4
The Israel-Palestine conflict has three proposed solutions:

1. One-State Solution
2. Two-State Solution
3. Three-State Solution

Among these, only the second, the Two-State Solution, supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Today, the question I would like to ask is: Can Palestine successfully achieve the establishment of the Palestinian State? And approximately when might it come to fruition?
Establishment of the Palestinian State.png Establishment of the Palestinian State.png Viewed 2062 times 167.93 KiB
Let us analyze this situation from the conditions required for statehood according to the Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States:

According to Article 1 of the convention: 'The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population; (b) a defined territory; (c) government; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.'

As the querent, Palestine is considered a foreign entity (other people's countries) to me, represented by the 7th house.

The 7th house is in Sagittarius, representing a stable for war horses and symbolizing the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Jupiter and the Moon, representing the nation and people respectively, are both located in the 6th house. The 6th house is associated with servitude, indicating that the Palestinian region and its people are under the domination of others.

Saturn in Pisces is in the 4th house, representing territory. Saturn symbolizes the Jewish people, aligning with the present reality of Israel's substantial control over the Palestinian region.

For Palestine, other nations are the 1st house, and Mercury is in the 7th house. Mercury forms a harmonious aspect with Jupiter, but it is in a fall position to Jupiter, and under the influence of Saturn. This suggests that while other countries may support the establishment of Palestine, the assistance they can provide is limited. (I believe this Mercury might represent the United States, as I came across news about Biden expressing support for the Two-State Solution today and Netanyahu vehemently opposes it.)

Venus, the ruler of the 12th house, is in the 7th house (imprisonment and servitude). Venus is in mutual reception with Jupiter. I believe Palestine's future may still be under the influence of external powers, but Venus is also the ruler of the 5th house, the turned 11th house. This may indicate humanitarian aid; I think the United Nations or international humanitarian organizations will provide assistance to the Palestinian region. And furthermore, Venus also represents Islam, indicating that allies from the Islamic faith may also offer assistance.

The Moon (daily life) separates from Uranus (violent revolution) and applies to the Sun in the 2nd house of Palestine. In the future, the focus of the people may shift towards economic reconstruction and recovery (Sun conjunct Pluto - economic reconstruction).

From this chart, I feel it's challenging to determine the likelihood of Palestine establishing a state in the near future.

Any comments from others?

Horary chart : Who are the newly appointed Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Yuan?

5
The presidential election in the Republic of China (Taiwan) has concluded, and the subsequent focus is on the election of the new Speaker for the upcoming legislative session.

The Legislative Yuan, equivalent to a parliament, comprises members from various political parties. In the new session of 2024, the distribution of seats for each party in the 113-seat Legislative Yuan is as follows:

- Kuomintang (KMT): 52 seats
- Democratic Progressive Party (DPP): 51 seats
- Taiwan People's Party (TPP): 8 seats
- Non-partisan: 2 seats (theoretically supporting KMT)

A majority of 57 seats is required to form a government, and currently, no single party holds a majority in the Legislative Yuan.

The TPP holds a pivotal position as a minority. If they choose to cooperate with the DPP, the Speaker position may lean towards the DPP, potentially resulting in a coalition government.

My question is: Who are the newly appointed Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Yuan? Will they run independently, or will a coalition government be formed?
Speaker of the Legislative.png Speaker of the Legislative.png Viewed 2034 times 170.81 KiB
I previously placed the Legislative Yuan in the 11th house, but upon understanding its responsibilities, I realized my mistake. The Legislative Yuan is the highest legislative body in the Republic of China, responsible for reviewing bills and the central government budget, and has the authority to propose impeachment and recall cases against the President and Vice President. Therefore, it belongs to the 10th house (authority institutions). The 11th house primarily deals with local-level affairs, such as mayors and city council members, with no nationwide authority, responsible for local laws and policies to assist in managing the country.

From the astrological chart, we can see that the 10th house cusp is about to change signs (from Cancer to Leo), symbolizing the election of a new Speaker.

Leo is a barren sign, and the Sun is in Aquarius (a fixed sign), indicating a lower likelihood of forming a coalition government. With the Sun in Aquarius and falling in the 4th house, representing the opposition party, it is likely that the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Yuan may come from the KMT, who holds the most seats.

Potential candidates from the Kuomintang include:

1. Han Kuo-yu, born on June 17, 1957, with Sun in Gemini.
2. Johnny Chiang, born on March 2, 1972, with Sun in Pisces.
3. Fu Kun-chi, born on May 8, 1962, with Sun in Taurus.

I just saw the news that the KMT's leader, Eric Chu, has confirmed the nomination of Han Kuo-yu (Speaker) and Johnny Chiang (Deputy Speaker), which seems to align with the indications from the chart. Taking Sun in Aquarius as the Speaker, Han Kuo-yu's Sun in Gemini is in a trine with Sun in Aquarius. Considering the 5th house (the 2nd house from the 4th house) (assistant position) for Deputy Speaker, Johnny Chiang's Sun is in Pisces. However, with Saturn in Pisces close to his Sun, Chiang might feel some pressure, perhaps leading to hesitancy?

We will know the results on February 1st (voting day).

=====

Update: Each political party has put forward its own candidate without collaboration between the parties. In the first round of voting, no candidate secured a majority. In the second round, the candidate with the most votes was chosen. Taiwan People's party opted not to participate in the second round.
Within the Kuomintang (KMT) camp, there was no internal competition (no betrayal or abstention). The final result saw the KMT candidates, Han Kuo-yu and Johnny Chiang (54 votes), respectively assuming the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Yuan.

Controversy over Legislative Yuan Reforms in 2024

Wikipedia: (https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hant/2024年立法院改革爭議)

I am the querent, and my question is: Can the various congressional reform bills proposed by the Kuomintang and the Taiwan People's Party pass?

Interestingly, I asked the same question three times, and each time the Moon (representing the people) was in the 3rd house, opposing the 9th house (representing legal statutes).

I am observing whether this event will evolve into something similar to the Sunflower Student Movement (the occupation of the legislature) that happened in Taiwan in 2014.
