The EU elections traditionally have a low turnout because the parliament has rather few rights, comparable to the parliament of North Korea. Irony off. The top head of the EU Commission was the then German Foreign Minister Ursula von der Leyen last time, although she was not even up for election. At that time, she escaped criminal proceedings in Germany. The NYT's current criminal case against her has been put on hold until the election is over. The poll trend is clearly to the right.

Based on the astrological chart, the Midheaven is at 21 degrees 30 minutes in Scorpio, a fixed sign, and the ruling planet of the 10th house—Mars—is in paran with Regulus. It seems that the current political landscape will largely remain unchanged. European People's Party Group (EPP Group), with a center-right political inclination, is likely to continue as the largest party, while the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D), with a center-left inclination, will become the second-largest party. Ursula von der Leyen is likely to continue as the President of the European Commission.

I think it is questionable that there is a horoscope for the EU election that can be clearly interpreted given the current state of astrology, especially since the formal result will be very different in the more than two dozen EU countries anyway. On the other hand: Where do you want to recognize a predicted shift to the right astrologically? What is astrologically green, what is right-wing, what is social democratic?

Hi Jakob,

This is my first time paying attention to the European Parliament elections. It took me some effort to understand the election rules and processes (the game rules).

Even now, I have not fully grasped the stance and leanings of each political party.

If there were enough time, energy, and information, I think it would be possible to predict the situations in the 27 EU member states, similar to forecasting the voting tendencies of each state in the U.S. elections.

I have simply categorized the far-right parties in the EU as Eurosceptic and those wanting to leave the EU. For now, I have no idea how to differentiate them from an astrological perspective.

Below is the radix chart of the European Union, surrounded by the chart of transits on the day of the European Parliament elections SHOCKING RESULTS.

Note transit Uranus hitting (and activating) the radix opposition of Moon and Mars-Pluto conjunction, the transit Mars-Pluto square aligning with the radix MC and transit Jupiter hitting the radix lunar nodes axis.

By itself, the chart for the "birth" of the European union looks quite horrible with that big tight T-square involving Moon, Mars, Pluto and Saturn.

Dear Wei, (male or female?)

I only get to see the political debates in Germany. But the term eurosceptic is primarily a rhetorical one against political opponents. Eurosceptics are usually those who do not vote at all in the EU elections and that is almost always over 50%, in some countries often 80% and more. Traditionally, very high voter turnout in EU elections is only found in countries where voting is compulsory, Belgium, Luxembourg....

The election itself has produced quite different results in the different countries. But all in all, the status quo will not really change. The only risk is likely to be the situation in France, where there will be new elections in 3 weeks. At the end of the month, Neptune is stationary at 0 degrees Aries. That could be a storm.

But this is not an EU election. My point of view is that the EU and its elections basically show the same phenomena as in the USA and other Western countries: A skepticism and rejection of the status quo among a high amount of the population whose opinion is not or hardly published in the media.

Dear Wei, the table of results that you have inserted here is not the result of the parties, but of mergers of different parties. The negotiations have not yet been completed. Some parties are not yet assigned to a political group. In the EU there is no Party discipline. This can lead to problems even when choosing the commission president. The extreme right has it most gains, which has been the case for 20 years. But always less than 50%. This time it could be critical because in the EU the power does not lie with the parliament but with the governments and France, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy are now extremely right-wing and in addition Macron has called for new elections. I stick to this. There is probably no single horoscope that represents the situation in the EU astrologically. I see neptune at the aries point as the most important position. Jakob
