it appears macron is not happy with how ordinary voters have voted here and has called a snap election for june 30th as a result.. this only came out after i posted the above post... so now we have 2 important elections back to back - uk and france- at the beginning of summer when everything looks and feels rosy... reality will set it later, lol..

visiting the website ( listed on wikpedia), one is bombarded with videos, lol... tiktok medium is extremely popular among young people in the west.. the reason the usa wants to shut it down is because the western intel agencies don't have a backdoor into it and have no control over it... they are quite happy with google, fb and instagram on the other hand for the same reason... that is how i see things at present with regard social media platforms and mainstream news too for that matter... but the medium has resulted in some changes here in the instance of jordan bardella receiving the support he has.. again - he is 28 years old ( 29 later this year) and has directly benefited from tiktok as a medium to communicate to young people in france.. heaven forbid that young people would have a voice that runs counter to the msm, lol... better shut that medium down!!

it is an interesting gambit macron has thrown onto the population of france here.. yes, he will still be around, unless he steps down - even if this election confirms the level of dissatisfaction in his present policies.. but he will have a much harder time getting anything passed or done.. sholtz who fared even worse has not called for snap elections.. i don't know how it works with germany, but i happen to think the fact that the 2 countries most hawkish on a continuation of war in ukraine - not interested in any peace - uk and france - are both now having elections within a very short time span - less then 1 month... it would appear the leadership is unsure of its mandate in both instances.... we'll see how they come out of this... sholz on the other hand has been more reserved, although his gov't has tried to silence anyone who has an alternative viewpoint, including the afd which had a strong showing in the euro elections as well and received more of the vote then sholtz...

maybe some of the people in europe are unhappy with vassal to the usa status they have traditionally adopted?

all these wars have brought many immigrants to europe... perhaps many in europe - france in particular - are tired of that??

as one comm-enter mentioned - there are actually two election dates june 30th and july 7th - for the french.. so this is coming very quickly.. i haven't examined bardellas chart in any great detail.. i got a laugh out of a line i read earlier today - "The 28-year-old grew up in the Parisian suburb of Saint Denis, which now stands as a shining example of how establishment policies can transform a real life place into something out of a ‘Grand Theft Auto’ video game. " my wife and i really enjoyed france, but not being french, it is hard to appreciate a more nuanced viewpoint that would go with all of this..

That's why Macron is reacting with new elections, because he is no longer sure of the majority of the people. The German chancellor only reacts when he is no longer sure of the majority of the deputies in parliament. Scholz has been governing since his election in 2021 against the majority of what the people want.
He is able to do that. Even in the 2021 election, only 40% of the voters of the governing parties were in favor of his government and only 28% of the German population was in favor of his government. That is why the poll results of the three governing parties are gradually approaching this 28%. Not even German journalists are aware of this.
