his chart in sidereal zodiac.. he has been in power as leader for the netherlands since 2010 and overseen a lot in this 13 year time span regarding the country..

this year is an aries profection year, so mars as ruler takes on greater importance in the 2023 solar return.. we see mars is in taurus in the descendant of the solar return with scorpio - mars ruled ascendant in the 2023 solar return - lands in the 4th house of the natal chart.. perhaps these factors contribute to him stepping down at this time as well.. it appears the farmers revolt and the political party that has come up out of this revolt are leading in the polls, after having come out of nowhere the past year... see the link below for this insight..

here is a chart to his place of birth for noon in the absence of a specific time.. i note the strong saturn in the solar 10th house which i associate with many successful individuals.. he is born a day or less before a full moon..

mark rutte is again in the lime light, this time as the potential new leader for nato who will replace jens stoltenberg..i don't know the whole process and whether it is a done deal or not.... as long as he has a talent for shaking the warmongering chains ( a necessary prerequisite) he will probably succeed...

below is the solar return for this year..


this is a 10th house profection year for rutte... consequently the role of venus in the solar return chart takes on greater significance... in the natal chart venus is in an angle and rules the 10th, which is very favourable as i see it.. in the 2024 solar return chart venus is conjunct pluto and mars in the sign capricorn and lands in the whole sign house 11th, which along with the 9 and 10th houses, is considered the best place for the profection lord to land in...

in the solar return chart, pisces is rising - 8th wh sign to his natal ascendant leo, but jupiter as ruler is rising in the 2024 solar return - again favourable.. additionally sr jupiter is conjunct sr moon - 2 degree aspect and this would have to be seen as favourable as well, even though moon rules the 5th of the solar return, it rules the 12th of his natal chart... in his natal chart jupiter is in cancer, also in the whs 12th... i see that this jupiter/moon conjunction in the 2024 sr is conjunct his natal north node/rahu position too... meanwhile rahu is close to the ascending degree in the 24 sr as well.. rahu is ambitious and worldly... perhaps this is a ''dream'' come true for him if he indeed jumps over all the hoops to get the role of replacing jens stoltenberg..

the important transit here for him, is reflected in the 2024 solar return with saturn in aquarius transiting his natal descendant which implies greater work and responsibilities, but i see it as largely favourable...

this is not a thorough examination by any means... hopefully others will tell me what i have missed! and please feel free to use tropical zodiac or different house system and etc. etc. - as the case may be...

as it happened the dutch were heavily involved in the study on the downing of the mh17 over ukraine in 2014 at the time of mark ruttes leadership of the netherlands... there is a very good book on this topic written in 2018 - also by a dutch professor kees van der pijl and called " flight mh17, ukraine and the new cold war" which i highly recommend for anyone interested in actually examining this series of events more closely..
