Hi everyone,

I'm quite familiar with horary medical questions and also somewhat with decumbiture.
I'm currently looking for material and resources on natal medical astrology.
Trying to understand which tool may be better, or maybe better for certain cases or circumstances.
Also I've got the impression that traditional medical astrology would relay more on horary / decumbiture, and modern medical astrology would relay more on the natal chart. However, I may be mistaken here.

Thus far, I've gathered the following resources for natal medical astrology:
1. Lee Lehman's Medical Astrology book.
2. Judith Hill's Planetary Pathology book and Transits of Health book.
3. Jane Ridder Patrick's Medical Astrology book.

If you're familiar with traditional sources for natal medical astrology, It would be interesting to get to know those.
Also I'm not against resources in the forms of videos and/or webpages on the topic (in case you're familiar with something specific).

The go-to astrological reference for medical astrology is H.L. Cornell's massive Encyclopedia of Medical Astrology. David Roell of AstroAmerica republished this book in paperback, but I recommend the original (used) hardback edition. Two physicians have written books on medical astrology which are still available: Margaret Millard, M.D. (deceased) and Dr. K. S. Charak (Indian-Vedic). Dr. Charak has noted that only professional medical people are qualified to consider astrological medical astrology. Dr. Cornell's book is a collection of all published information and data recorded before his time (958 pages). Revised edition 1972, originally published 1933.

Cornell is great, no doubt.
As far as I'm aware, though, he has no section of how to go about a natal medical reading from A to Z, as his book is a dictionary of sorts.

Any opinions on Margaret Millard's Casenotes of a Medical Astrologer?

Margaret Millard and I were friends back in the 1980s. Back then I didn't even consider myself much of an astrologer, but she wrote in my copy of Casenotes, "To Teresa, a great astrologer." Well, if I have times when I feel insignificant and unimportant, I can always check Margaret's note in Casenotes! Anyway, if you don't have the book and are looking for material on natal astrology, Casenotes is a good book to have.

Dr. Millard writes in informal conversational style (easy and often amusing to read) and gives numerous details about the astrological picture of her patients along with illustrated charts. I haven't reviewed the book in many years, but just glancing through the book now, I think I'll have to re-read it! For now, I can't comment on her astrology for her patients.

Margaret writes in her preface: "A look at the birth patterns of my patients has taught me much about their diseases. The case notes which follow show how medical astrology can be used."

American physician who specialized in pediatrics and practiced in Maine. An astrologer for many years, she is the author of "Casenotes of a Medical Astrologer" and "The Genetics of Astrology." After retiring from medical practice, she moved near to Gloucester, England, and her book "The Moon and Childbirth" was published in 1999.

Her medical astrology books contain rather exact (often minute exact) factual first hand data. So I use it for my statistical astrology study of early child death. I became interested in it when I (https://www.google.com/search?q=sjoerd+ ... strodienst) studied the phenomenon of early child death in rich countries like the Netherlands based on open source CBS statistics .
