Will P get new job in next 6 months? 1 by ashwsh P is the ascendant here, and she asked is she will get a new and better paying position in the next 6months She is frustrated with increasing work load, lack of pay equity and the boss. P is Mercury (Rx) in the 11th house, of hopes and wish. She/Moon is entering cancer, making her strong in the 10th house. I often get confused when the ruler of the ascendant and the house pertaining to the question have the same Lord, Mercury in this case. I remember asking Tanit once about it on this forum and she mentioned in career chart it can be seen positive, however it is combust, so whatever comes along as options may not be great opportunities. viewtopic.php?t=11290 However Mercury does direct tmrw and probably she has a a change of heart. She also has POF in 10th so that probably helps with the situation. House of gain in salary belong to the sun, so lots of unknown and hidden things here. thoughts? Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 2 by astroeve Hi there, It is interesting that Mercury is actually stationing at the time of this question. This suggests intensity as well as an imminent change in both the querent and the quesited, her job situation. While having the same significator for both the quesited and querent may seem confusing, it is important that we also look at the houses that signify the the two as well. Here the quesited (new job/position) is signified by the MC, its ruler Mercury as well as the Moon, especially as it is place in the 10th house. The problems at work are well described by Mars (Lord 3/8) on the MC conjunct a debilitated Jupiter and squaring the ASC and Venus in the 1st house (querent). The first aspect that the Moon makes is always important and here she with make a sextile to the Sun (Lord 11 - hopes and wishes) in about 4 degrees. This could offer new insights into the situation at work. Sun disposits Mercury (Lord MC) - so could signify the boss with whom she is having problems. After this the Moon makes a trine to Saturn retrograde in the 6th. Venus (co significator of the querent) is currently opposing Neptune - she is in fall and under that influence of foggy Neptune as well as a square with Mars. However she is moving away from these influences and about to gain dignity as she enters Libra, a sign that offers a more balanced and structured view/experience of the matter. Mercury will go direct and make a sextile to the MC at the same time as there is a New Moon at 11 Virgo. This offers a potential new position and/or a changed and improved circumstance at her current work place. This would seem to be within the 6 month time period she is asking. Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 3 by Ouranos A T-Square involving the AS and MC along with a ME at standstill and under the Beams adds a pressure to 'What's next' MO in rulership next aspect to the SU in MR with ME L1 and L10 On the plus side, SU is in the exaltation and bound of ME but ME is R (dispositor of the SU and main factor to consider here for a new job) So, it looks like this MO sextile SU may take some time to materialize. ------------ Looking at this chart under a different angle Part of Children AS +SA-JU = 22 Gem 56 conjunct MC MO/JU = MA Strong MO in Cancer will eventually make a trine to SA L5 Has your colleague considered motherhood? And maybe taking a leave to reflect on her future. Blessings! Quote Thu Aug 29, 2024 3:46 am
Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 4 by ashwsh thank you both astroeve and Ouranos..really appreciate your response Seems nothing changes for new couple of months for her. On the aspect of children, @Ouranos, she is the primary bread earner in the family so resting down for the kids, doesnt seem like an option here. Having said that, I remember couple of days ago, she did mention that perhaps she would like to have more kids. currently only has one. But very unlikely she would take a longer break, given somebody has to pay the bills :-) Just one question for you, you mentioned MO sextile SU may take some time to materialize..so that sextile in 4units may take longer than time frame of the chart..correct? Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 5 by Georgius ashwsh wrote: Wed Aug 28, 2024 7:31 pmMercury…however it is combust[…] No, it is not. Mercury is just under sunbeams and furthermore separating from the Sun. It cannot act (stationary), it cannot see. But the former has changed already. ashwsh wrote: Wed Aug 28, 2024 7:31 pm thoughts? The 12th part of the Asc is conjunct Mars accurate to the degree. So maybe Mars is the core of the question. Mars is on MC in Gemini and is lord of the 8th (money of other people) and the 3rd (neighbours, communication,…) and the natural significator of assertiveness. There is a sextile to Mercury and a conjunction with Moon over the boundary of the sign and a square to Venus. So Mars is very important here. Who (or what) is he? Can you tell the lord of the hour to see if this chart is radical at all? Quote Fri Aug 30, 2024 1:49 pm
Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 6 by Ouranos you mentioned MO sextile SU may take some time to materialize..so that sextile in 4units may take longer than time frame of the chart..correct? As it seems yes. Although the sextile to the SU indicates some 'assistance' from a man, it is unlikely that this person being peregrine, mutable and cadent will have some power to change the course of action. Adding that the ruler ME L10 is also peregrine, under the beams and retrograde. Check when Mercury comes out of combustion and turns Direct Sep 4,5,6 and see what a return from ashes has in store. On the aspect of children, @Ouranos, she is the primary bread earner in the family so resting down for the kids, doesnt seem like an option here. I moved away from the basic principle to 'stick to the question'. She didn't ask so my comment was totally irrelevant. I just saw the Part of Children conjunct her MC and made up a story. Blessings! Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 7 by ashwsh Hi Georgius Can you tell the lord of the hour to see if this chart is radical at all? Thank you so much for your response. Lord of the hour is MO, question was asked 8:22am on August 28, 2024 Table attached @Ouranos..no problem at all..I always appreciate your inputs and guidance..infact very much look forward to them. Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 9 by Ouranos Ashwsh, Just to be clear, I would say yes she get a new job but not within 6 months. As AstroEve says 'as she enters Libra, a sign that offers a more balanced and structured view/experience of the matter.' What I find peculiar here is the evasiness of the question. Maybe with VE opp NE. She asked if she will get a new job in next 6 months but she is not pro-active. As opposed to someone actively seeking a new job, sending resumes, making phone calls etc. It is a field of hopes and wishes as opposed to 'Will I get this job?' Best to you, Ouranos Blessings! Re: Will P get new job in next 6 months? 10 by Tanit3333 The chart is pretty complicated and seems to require more advanced skills than a typical work question.. The 2nd lord is in fall in the ascendant but at a late degree, going to change signs to domicile. The 2nd is often associated with career as much as 10th, IMO. Mercury is about to go stationary direct and evades an aspect with debilitated Jupiter, 7th/4th lord (partnership/family home life). Perhaps she wants the partner to take up the burden but they are not able to or she's a partner in the job or contractor and this is not going to work out well. Jupiter usually wants to help in some way but it isn't in a state to help much (could be a work colleague who tries to make her position better but isnt able to, etc.). So she then hits Mars on the MC. Mars often shows a separation in career horaries. I would see this as a potential change after maybe something comes to a head at work and she has to make a choice, such as issues with her boss and her being honest with them about it. Could be roughly 4 months based on aspect, but it is further complicated by Mercury having to change signs before aspecting (the situation may become clearer or there is a major change of some sort necessary). Mars technically denies the aspect by going to Cancer first but they are within orb of influence. The aspect also suggests she has a strong and active mind who hates mundane tasks and someone who needs to work in a field that doesn't just use their strengths but that challenges them and makes them feel passionate about something. Mercury is not in its element here currently so this current job is not best for her skill set and happiness, so I would hope she is actively looking. Moon cardinal and angular in the 10th suggests change here too and next aspects the 11th lord in the 12th. 11th is gains from work and those who may help us usually. Since it is a house of loss, there is difficulty regardless of Moon being in domicile. One possible way to use the energies for gain would be something like working for the government in foreign land, working at a hospital, etc. She has strong Mercury signification so might want to look at writing, technology, etc. Maybe a work from home job. I find it hard to interpret horaries where the querent is retro, particularly where Mars is peregrine in the 10th (Lilly says "the artist will hardly get credit"). They have not decided what to do and even if they are unhappy, they could just as easily decide to stay in a bad situation regardless of what opportunities they may find by actively seeking change. In this case, I doubt a good opportunity will present itself without effort and discernment. Whenever Mars is involved, rash decisions can occur that are not the smartest move in the moment. There is an emphasis on dual bodied signs here so she likely will have a choice between two things to be made. When the time arises, I would do a stay or go horary to see if the new road is better. Just because one is unhappy in a current position does not mean the first alternative is better. She needs to be smart in her thought process and maybe even choose between the better of two options, until she gets where she wants to go. She is not combust but under the beams. The Sun may also suggest her fear of uncharted waters by being in the 12th and her dispositor. She's in a fixed sign, so she may be a habitual person who has trouble making change happen. Mercury is going through a new cycle here by stationing to turn direct. This is sometimes compared to a midlife crisis point (or some sort of crisis). Quote Thu Sep 12, 2024 11:39 pm
