I have attached the link above to the latest, updated version of my list of astrological predictions for the 2024 Presidential Election. At present predictions favoring a Harris win are are are well in excess of x2 the number of predictions suggesting a Trump winThe list is now divided into two parts. Predictions issued before Biden's withdrawal and those since Kamala Harris entered the race. The volume of astrologers favoring Harris is interesting. Will this vindicate good astrology or leave the US astrological community with egg on its face again as happened in 2016? I do note a lot of astrologers stop short of an outright prediction this year and offer general analysis. Some of these are actually very insightful. I will update and recirculate the list after the next Presidential debate and Lunar eclipse this month. If you are aware of any predictions I have missed please notify here either on the forum or by PM. Note though that I am only including substantial predictions laying out clear delineation rather than short posts on social media like X, Tik Tok, Instagram etc.

I am happy to include any detailed predictions issued since Harris entered the race not currently on the list.

Please make your prediction here or open a new thread sharing your thoughts. Please make clear what techniques you are relying on ie. transits, progressions, solar arcs, solar and lunar returns, profections, primary directions, zodiacal releasing, firdaria. dashas etc. Please also specify the zodiac you are using. If sidereal which particular ayanamsha e.g. Lahiri, Krishnamurti, Fagan-Allen. It would would also be a big help if you could what astrological tradition you are broadly relying on.

Hi Mark,
I really appreciate all the work you are doing tracking and posting election predictions. I find it fascinating to read all the various approaches used by astrologers in coming to conclusions. You haven't included my prediction for Kamala Harris. I thought that maybe I wasn't clear enough, so edited my concluding statement:

Based on my interpretation of solar returns and Ennead charts, and the precise alignment of Kamala Harris' January 8 Ennead planets with the 20 January 2025 Inaugural chart (as well as and especially her October 2024 solar return ascendant in the degree of Inaugural Moon) I see as Divine Destiny that Kamala Harris was meant to be the next president of the United States.

The NM prior the U.S.A elections
Here we have an evil planet (Mars Lord of the lunation in Scorpio) in poor celestial condition (Fall) and sending an evil aspect (opposition of aversion, refusal, hindrance) to Pluto (serious damage).
Mars in the 9th, lawyers, solicitors and state administrators will fight over the election results.
Ruler of the 9th (Moon) in Fall in the 12th cazimi to the Sun makes the evils it threatens more prompt, greater and more inevitable. The Sun is co-ruler of the intercepted 9th in Leo. The officials would rather be hiding than take a stand.
The NM falls on the cusp of the Sibly 12th House while the opposition Mars/Pluto is in the natal 8th.
A closer look at the Diurnal for Nov 5th, the diurnal MC is conjunct transiting Pluto!

Mercury in Scorpio ruling the Supreme Court L10 in 1st sends a trine to Mars. Hopefully, they can entangled the results. 21 degrees separating the Moon to Mercury days?

I read your post with interest as I’ve never really considered cyclic lunar charts in relation to political events. I’ve mainly used lunar charts for weather conditions and predictions.

With all the tropical zodiac Mars emphasis, of course my sidereal mind translated all that to Venus emphases in the sidereal zodiac. This immediately highlights an important key planet in Kamala Harris’ 2024 solar return. Below is the New Moon 1st November chart Ouranos discussed, but in the sidereal Krishnamurti zodiac with Kamala Harris’ solar return planets in the outer wheel. In this case the zodiac difference completely changes the texture and tone of the chart. (So we can impatiently wait to see what events transpire during the election period!)



In the sidereal chart late Libra rises with the Sun and Moon just at the center of the sign at 15 degrees. In this degree are stars of the Northern Crown, Corona Borealis: the beta star Nusakan and the theta star.

What concerns us, however, is that in Kamala Harris' 2024 solar return, Mercury is at 18 degrees of Libra, three degrees from the New Moon degree. Mercury is both Kamala Harris’ natal ascendant lord (Gemini) and her solar return ascendant lord, 24 Virgo 53, which I’ve pointed out in other posts, is the degree of the inaugural Moon on January 20, 2025.

I know from studying a number of birth charts that this degree in Libra is a very special gifted degree containing a grouping of stars:
Acrux, alpha Crux (Southern Cross)
Alphecca, alpha Corona Borealis, (Northern Crown)
Mekent, theta Centaurus, (the Centaur)

This New Moon chart, of course, contains Mars in Cancer in the 9th house (both zodiacs) opposed to Pluto in Capricorn (both zodiacs). But the Mars energy isn’t so pronounced in the sidereal zodiac since the Ascendant and Sun/Moon conjunction are in Libra.

So do we emphasize the concept of a Crown (Northern Crown) for Kamala Harris over the energy of Mars in fall in Cancer?

I need to emphasize that the energy of sidereal Libra is nothing like tropical Libra. This sidereal sign holds the energy noted in tropical Scorpio since it’s in the same part of the sky and ecliptic. This is an internally focused sign, and for Jyotish astrologers the Sun/Moon are in Swati, an occult, often astrological mansion of the zodiac. The difference from tropical Scorpio is that sidereal Libra is ruled by Venus with the exaltation of Saturn. Dispositor Venus in the New Moon chart is in the second house of resources, family (Indian concept) and speech.

Also in this New Moon chart Kamala Harris’ solar return Venus at 10 Scorpio 26 is trine New Moon Mean Rahu (having to do with the masses) with only a ten minute orb. So if we want to use this New Moon chart as a predictive tool, it seems that Kamala Harris is destined to receive the “crown.”

Ouranos, thanks for the extras which I didn't even notice as I posted my message near midnight yesterday!
It does seem that with the various astrological methods used by astrologers, Kamala Harris has many plus factors for an election victory. I don't remember reading the same type of positive factors for Donald Trump.

I didn't know that. This reminds me if all the personal experiences of astrologers with fixed stars were somehow collected, we would know a lot more about the stars. So much of the older standard published information on stars doesn't check out in practice, and there are so many new discoveries due to cultural evolution and change.
