i am sorry to see him go.. a great man who did much great work towards scottish independence and was not really acknowledged as much as i think he ought to have been.. instead, those opposed to him really tried hard to drag him thru the mud, but in spite of that, he remained above the fray..

i looked at his transits to yesterday noon - a rough guesstimate of his time of death and i would have to say this birth time that is given seems very accurate.. others can look if they'd like.. there is a close sun-mars square in the transits - less then 1 degree, and it lines up very close to his ascendant degree.. i am using sidereal zodiac in the biwheel chart below where you can see for yourself... t saturn is about 1 degree past his midheaven degree which would also coincide with the greater recognition accorded him here...
