Should I take this apartment 1 by BunnyNY Hi, I've been looking for an apartment. My boyfriend and I broke up so I'm on my own in the search. I think I found one so cast a horary "Should I take this apartment?" I'm Saturn in Capricorn almost at 27 but not yet, Moon is on the 7th house cusp, as is Mars. Mars is applying by trine to the Moon, as is Saturn to the Sun. I say yes, but am I looking at it through rose-colored glasses? Your help is welcome! Re: Should I take this apartment 2 by stargeezer Looks like 27 Capicorn rising. I'm reminded of what Lilly says in "Considerations Before Judgement" in CA: If 27, 28, 29 degrees ascend of any Sign, it’s no ways safe to give judgement, except the Querent be in years corresponding to the number of degrees ascending; or unless the Figure be set upon a certain time, viz. a man went away or fled at such a time precise; here you may judge, because it’s no propounded question. You might get away with that if you're the right age, but he also says, You must also be wary, when in any question propounded you find the Cusp of the 7th house afflicted, or the Lord of that house Retrograde, or impedited, and the matter at that time not concerning the seventh house, but belonging to any other house, it’s an argument the judgement of the Astrologer will give small content, or any thing please the Querent; for the seventh house generally hath signification of the Artist. I'd call Mars on the cusp of the 7th afflicted, trine to the Moon notwithstanding. https://www.skyscript.co.uk/considerations.pdf Note that the 4th house is the traditional house for home or real estate. Venus is ruler of the 4th and there is a square between 1st ruler Saturn and Venus, but this is well past perfection and separating. I see the same message here as in the 27 degree ascendant: too late. The chart is not radical, not fit to be judged. --stargeezer Quote Sat Nov 02, 2024 11:37 pm

No problem. It's a learning experience for me too. When posting future horaries, it would be helpful if you could include the planetary hour. You may have noticed Lilly mentioned that's part of determining if the chart is radical. It looks like you did your chart on astrodienst (astro.com), and AFAIK they don't provide a way to get this info on a horary chart. You can use this calculator (link below) to get the information. Just make sure you set it to your current location and the current date and do it when do you do the chart, I.e. within the current hour https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/plane ... alculator As an alternative, just tell us what day of the week you did the chart and we can figure out the planetary hour from the house position of the Sun, as long as you use a quadrant house system. Most software uses Placidus by default, which is fine. Quote Mon Nov 04, 2024 11:02 pm
