I would like to recommend exploring Smiljana Gavrancic’s works, which I had the chance to read this afternoon. I found her insights to be quite fascinating. She discusses symbolic and mythological archetypes, such as Donald Trump’s Midheaven conjunct the fixed star Algol, associated with Medusa and representing themes like female anger and confrontation. It’s intriguing to note that Trump has defeated female opponents in two elections, and his hush-money case might also conclude without significant consequences.

As you suggest Kenneth Bowser is most definitely not a supporter of Donald Trump. He was predicting in both 2016 very much against his political preferences. I do think that adds to his credibility substantially. In contrast there are several astrologers on the list who seem to always predict a Republican or Democrat winner at every election. Predicting which way those astrologers will predict is quite predictable!

Smiljana Gavrancic, like Kenneth Bowser sits outside the astrological mainstream. That may be a factor in why neither them seem to go along with the astrological herd. But whereas Bower's approach to Western Siderealism is very methodical and technical Smiljana Gavrancic seems more of a free spirit.

Gavrancic is very hard to characterse in terms of her astrological tradition making her something of a maverick. Apart from the standard astrological tools like transits, lunations, eclipses, fixed stars, secondary progressions, solar returns and solar arcs her method involves digging deep into history to find astrological connections. The focus is often on recurrent astrological degrees that repeat in history.

This seems to be a factor in how she zeroed in on Donald Trump as a potential US President before any other astrologer worldwide. Her article from September 2015 came just 3 months after Donald Trump launched his bid for the Presidency on June 16 2015. At that time there were still a total of 17 Republican candidates who had launched bids to be President. It was quite a remarkable achievement. I remember our former moderator Tom Callanan being deeply impressed after he saw the link to her prediction on my list. Smiljana Gavrancic was also one of the earliest astrologers to focus on Kamala Harris before she became Vice President. Although Gavrancic predicted she would become President. At hr best she is quite brilliant. Having said that I do find her content at times a bit incoherent and eccentric.

It's such a delight popping into this site on a regular basis and reading everyone's contributions. There have been so many different perspectives. I have learnt a lot. Very rarely have I seen any nasty aggressive comments which I have encountered on other sites. I'm sure Mark's administration of the Mundane & Financial section has a lot to do with that.

Thanks for all your work on collecting various forecasts for the US Elections. I was most impressed by Oner Doser's forecast for the 2024 Election, including as you suggest looking at the Spring & Autum equinox charts & eclipses for the year in April & October, coming from the US Election panel discussion hosted by Maurice Fernandez from January 2024. He also used firdaria, suggesting Trump was returning to power again emphasising his natal 10th house Uranus-Nth Node-Gemini Sun again... also from a similar firdaria emphasis on his Gemini Sun, as natal Leo Ascendant & Mars ruler conjunct Regulus.. similar to 2016 when Trump last won the presidency. However, his firdaria shifted to the Sth Node, for the 2020 Election that he lost after Covid 19 etc.. Oner also suggesting Biden might withdraw, & lead to Harris becoming the nominee. I was also wondering if Oner had done a previous prediction for the US Elections. Yes Mark, Anonymous predicting the last 5 US Election winners using the inauguration charts is impressive, echoing the Whole idea that sometimes “Less is more” or better.. featuring the idea of Republicans taking the White House relating to Jupiter, & the Democrats relating to Saturn.

And meanwhile I also attempted my own analysis looking at the Sunrise election day charts for Washington DC, featuring transiting Jupiter above the horizon shining brightly in the Night Sky, as opposed to 2020 where Jupiter was below the horizon before Sunrise. Also noting planets transiting in Sagittarius around Trump's natal Sth Node-Sagittarian Moon on election day., the same for 2016 & 2024.. I also thought it was interesting that the Total Solar Eclipse passing across the US occurring during the first year of Trump's presidency on August 21, 2017.. conjunct Trump’s natal Mars & Leo Ascendant conjunct the Royal Star Regulus.. also coinciding again with the Total Solar Eclipse also passing over America earlier this year on April 8.. to me symbolising the return of Trump to the presidency again.. Trump being born just a few hours before a Lunar Eclipse.. ..that is, here pointing to the reality of Hilary Clinton losing.. also even further pointing to Trump’s natal Taurus MC at Taurus 24, conjunct the Star Capulus, ie. “The Sword of the Warrior, Perseus,” in the constellation of Perseus, holding the severed head of Medusa.. represented by the Star Algol, at Taurus 26, as “the Head of the Beast”.. symbolising very “losing one’s head” literally or symbolically.. So now Trump has defeated two women in two elections..
