In May 2025, transiting Uranus goes to 27 Taurus. Elon Musk was born with Fortuna at 27 Taurus in opposition to Jupiter at 27 Scorpio. Both aspecting Pluto at 27 Virgo. This is not a house system anyone here uses. And you don't use asteroids (Fortuna is Jupiter's daughter). But - in your preferred astrology system, can you see why May 2025 would be a sudden financial upheaval for Musk, not to mention a total career transformation? Thank you.

i take it fortuna is an asteroid?? maybe there is something to asteroids, but i haven't looked at them closely... is that what it is?? usually i think of the part of fortune when i hear the word 'fortuna', but that isn't this here as i read it...

i went and looked at a book i have by martha lang-wescott.. no mention of fortuna in this book either... she is a connoisseur of asteroids!!

frankly i think elon musk is under serious financial challenges given some of the dynamics happening in the car industry at present.. this also explains why a number of countries are levying 100% tariff or surcharges on electric vehicles from china... china has essentially made an as good as or better electric vehicle then tesla or volkswagen and are offering them at half or lower the price... can't have a free market when the chinese market is now eating your lunch!!!

it definitely wouldn't surprise me if musk has some financial turbulence moving forward... oh and i heard that he has been buying up exchange markets in bitcoin and the various types of coins and was hoping to be given control over these financial options in a similar way to how paypal, or visa and master card have... it would make sense as i think his car industry profit margin is disappearing rapidly...

sometimes i wonder how people rise to such a high position in the world... elon is a hard person for me to understand and i have intentionally shied away from looking at his chart - party due the B rating, but also for other subjective reasons.. i know there is a book out on him - might be an autobiography - which might be a good place to start if someone was interested... i had read his dad worked for the intel agency and perhaps this explains some of his rise to power.. hard to know... i don't see brilliance or genius in his chart, but maybe someone else does?? cheers james

Musk had october eclipse conj uranus sa sun and has the next one opposing uranus sq sun. Both have and will cause his ego to get a direct hit, There is nothing like this a square hit to sun to shake one up.

with a fortune into the plus 350 billion territory, tesla could go bankrupt and he wouldnt feel much.

What I think might happen is that as government accountability and attempted restrictions from democrats starts to chaff and choke, he will react with an itch that around july next year will finally burst.

he hasnt had anyone to report to in decades but now he reports to Trump. Trump may be lenient but he can be a hot head too. And if things dont go well in this new department, and given the eclipse I think they just wont…. there will be a reaction to be had.

but it can also be said that this government venture of his is already a personal ego setback. he has stepped down from leading and innovating. He has to fit in and report to someone. And this reporting will already be a restriction he isnt used to. When democrats start obstructing him, things will get much worse.

but given we dont have accurate time for Musk, I dont think we can predict financial specifics. he has a loyal following who have come to his rescue before when he has bounced tesla or doge price to make money off them and he may do this again and again. He uses his fan base like a security bank to extract money from. They even buy his overpriced ugly cars for heavens sake. There is no end to the fan base support.

Since the eclipse hits sun we can predict he will have a personal fail experience that will sting and since this project is very very personal , once off, new and shiny, this is the one that will be the scapegoat for his sun eclipsing his ego result.

He will go quiet for a bit and shrug it off.

Or …far more than likely…..looking past the eclipses to sun…he may well sulk for a bit, rethink his strategy and come roaring back for revenge…given he is a cancer and doesnt know when to let go.

Musk wants to put Starlink on Mars, of course. We have a B-rated Rodden chart for him, from a biography and neither Musk nor his mother has contradicted the birth time or date. his date of birth would be correct. I suspect his time may be also. SA uses date of birth in the national id number and he would have had one. this would still be on records and too many would have access to rat on him over this. So I think date is solid.

I did a relocation to Washington and just as well. the astro.com chart didnt show his Thor's hammer with mars neptune jupiter to sun mercury, but its there …and I suspect he also has a functional grand trine with mars, venus and uranus… both strongly indicated in his life. He was known for his lying as he entered the workforce. grand lying. He activates that Thors when he choses to leverage share price to scam money out of investors for his direct benefit. it works because that mars is part of the grand trine.

but look at the relocation to washington with saturn in his 2nd opp neptune jupiter in 8. he is just not going to be in favour. saturn there says little to no influence. what he offers just isnt going to be wanted.

based on both your input, lets assume the birth data is accurate.. it is a sort of sunrise chart as it presently stands with mercury very close to the ascendant... mercury is the planet closest to any angle in the chart.. using tropical zodiac, it rules the 12th and 3rd houses of this B rated chart.. uranus is widely square the ascendant, perhaps reflecting some of his upbringing or turbulence in his upbring and home environment.. uranus is also close to the square of the sun/mercury midpoint and of course sun is also widely conjunct the ascendant.. so you could say this config of sun/mercury square uranus dominates the appearance that elon generates off the ascendant - some type of individualistic free thinking, unorthodox character basically...

i did a synastry of his chart to that of donald trumps... overall i think the relationship is favourable, beginning with the position of musk venus on the important config in trumps chart - sun-uranus-north node opp moon-south node... that is a helpful set up as i see it... adding to this is the location of both mercurys close to the same spot in the zodiac, indicating an ease of communication on its own.. essentially the mercurial traits are put in the foreground which works differently for each individual.. there are other observations to make, but i will stop here and suggest the relationship is ultimately positive..

i have always been fascinated over a few well known people who share a similar birth date for this year, beginning with julian assange, another person that is no shrinking violet when it comes to public controversy and more... i am forgetting the 3rd person at the moment who is born in a similar window of time, but all of them seem to have the mars-north node playing out a particular way... generally i think of it playing out in both of these people's charts in the 8th house direction.. now this is mars-rahu in the solar 8th of a cancer sun, but with musk if the time is accurate - also in the natural 8th - aquarius being the 8th to cancer... this might indicate financial strength, and also access to information not otherwise easily accessible and also support from others in many forms.. i imagine any challenges to these charts would require a hit on this spot in the chart.. at the moment nothing obvious pops up, but maybe someone else sees something??

as it happens trumps chart is essentially a bowl chart with moon and uranus the 2 planets on the edge of the bowl.. with elon musk it is a bucket chart with this same mars-rahu or north node forming the handle of bucket and again taking on more prominence... this same conjunction also acts as a type of handle to trumps bundle chart, so their is that too, lol... whether their relationship is short or long lived is hard to know.. mars is known to fly off the handle from time to time.. whether it will alter what is an otherwise generally positive relationship set up remains to be seen..

However there is enough in both charts you're showing to prop up the Third House, Ninth House, Gemini, Sagittarius, Mercury and Jupiter. All of which suggest his stars are aligned.

I listened to Ezra Klein of the New York Times interview Kara Swisher about Musk earlier today. There is a video of it on YouTube, too.
Swisher knows Elon Musk well and has for years. She is a well-respected technology journalist with a candid perspective on the tech bro's.
If you're interested in Musk, it's a useful interview, gives context for his style of doing things, and insights into his psyche and motivations and how he's changed over the years. And Klein and Swisher are both quite interesting, sane people, engaging to listen to (in contradistinction to much of the journalism online).
(I wonder, since listening to their discussion, if the "very large head" noted in the information about Elon's birth time might mean that he has some autistic savant characteristics, as large head circumference can be associated with autism, as can OCD and obsessiveness, emotional difficulties, and even narcissistic tendencies.)
Also, a point: even if you have a birth certificate with an "accurate looking" time recorded on it, it's not necessarily accurate. This came up recently with Trump's time of birth as well, about whether to trust the time passed down in the family or the time on the birth certificate.
KRS interviewed Paul Manley, the jyotishi, about birth times and rectification. It's a very listenable interview and demonstration of technique and is on YouTube. I hadn't realized until I listened to it that inaccuracy of recorded birth times is a common problem. When I was learning astrology, I unquestioningly absorbed the attitude that birth certificate times were, by definition, accurate.
Manley talked about the birth of his own child and how very inaccurate the birth certificate time was. (He was present at his child's birth, and timed it himself. The official birth certificate time was off by about two hours.)
He also had some interesting insights, such his observation that some nations have better track records about birth time accuracy. He mentioned France as an example. Even if you're not wanting to learn Jyotish, it's an interesting interview about what any astrologer has to do when reading a chart.
Manley teaches a rectification course, and has book on his method. In the video he demonstrates his approach on a few examples. It is specific to Jyotish and examining the Vimshottari mahadasha/bhukti periods as well as some other chart details, but if you're familiar with the basics, it's easy enough to follow.
The interview changed my thinking, as I had the habit of assuming that a birth certificate time was accurate, esp. if it was specific (like 8:38 am, or 5:22 pm) and not on the hour, half-hour or even the quarter-hour.
It is looking like an interesting eclipse at the end of March. I am looking forward to everyone's commentary on that.
