I'm still learning a lot about horary but when I took a look at this horary again I noticed that no only was their mutual reception but both the significator and quesited planets are on the angles. Jupiter/Sagittarius and Mercury/Gemini, the significator and quesited, are separating and the Moon is not applying to either. The Sun is in the first house and not applying to Mercury either. This looks like a no to me.

However, I remembered that an experienced astrologer who practiced horary regularly had told me that a planet on the 7th house angle for the quesited often signifies yes and soon. That was a long time ago, so I'm here to ask if that is generally true or am I remembering it wrong.

Yes, and in your chart, both partners mutually initiate the process (MR).
In fact, when a question is asked with Angularity, the process might already be underway.
Yet, both partners are retrogrades. They are not separating but 'mutually chasing each other'. Delays and who initiates first remains a question. In this case, I would look at who turns Direct first.
In MR by opposition, there is this potential of collaboration and respect despite differences and challenges.
Finally, the Moon Angular is another sign of soon.
But in the last degree of Pisces (VOC) about to enter Aries, you may have to meet on a different playground, a new round, more aggressive with deadlines and urgent solutions to find.
This Moon conjunct Neptune and both significators being in detriment suggests that the deal might not be worth pursuing. After all, who wins when you exchange four pennies for a dime.

It's interesting, I think so, but given the dignity of the signifiers, not very good things are going to come from this situation. Both are in detriment, apart from retrograde (which will only bring more inconveniences like delays, disagreements, etc.) I always find the charts where the ascendant is retrograde, with somewhat erratic results. Im sure with the client mercury and retrograde and faster than you, definitely will relate to a change of position from the the clienth on the matter.

T squares always have a pressure point at the middle and that's Saturn here, planet of limitations and obstacles. I haven't seen great results in horaries with this mutable t square. It suggests something hinders anything from happening effectively but also there is a mutual disagreement between both parties. There's a lot of pressure in this aspect because it involves two superiors. I've heard at least one astrologer try to describe it kindly by saying it's Jupterian, but in practice that doesn't seem to happen.

Ny daughter married when her Uranus was triggered which is at the top of the 7th house.

The sabian degree for Venus is quite interesting, bunny considering the venus connection with co-operation, likemindedness, consulting etc..here at 3 aquarius it is symbolised by ''A Deserter from the Navy'' which is obviously not what you or anyone else wants as it largely indicates leaving off, jumping ship or getting away from stress and taking a long holiday. Hopefully it is the latter case here. It would be interesting to research on whether sabian's work in horaries or not, as the case may be. Fingers crossed she returns in due time, Bunny!
