A Resounding "Yes"? Hard to believe...

1
For those of you who have never had the pleasure of feasting your eyes on a clear-cut ?Yes? horary and and an apparently happy outcome ? here?s a little something (and a first for me!!)

Question was asked by my friend; she is taking karate classes and every now and then she has noticed some very indirect signs from her rather high profile black belt instructor. She doesn?t quite know whether the ?signs? or ?vibrations? that she is receiving from her instructor are significant, and whether they mean anything at all. They are always very, very subtle. He has started taking an interest in her life in general, but his interest can always be chalked down to an interest from a ?teacher? perspective, because there are no "direct" signs. Call it a woman?s intuition, but she can?t seem to shake off the feeling that there?s something more to this. Hence the question asked:
?What lies ahead for me and Mr. X?,
Mr. X being her karate instructor.
Question asked July 28th, 2006, 5:12 pm, 40N51 74W25

Her ruler, Jupiter, located in the 11th, and Moon located in the 9th. She could also be signified by Venus, if this question was related to love matters.

His ruler, Lord 9, Mercury, located in the 7th, retrograde. He could also be signified by the Sun. Mercury is conjunct Castor, which I read somewhere had the signification of a ?warrior?, so I think that fits him.

The ruler of the hour is the Moon; since the Moon is located in the 9th, and the question is about her martial arts teacher, I think the chart is fit to be judged.

Moon and Mercury in mutual reception by dignity. I know that she thinks highly of him from a teacher perspective, he is truly a martial arts expert of a very high rank. Why he holds her in dignity, I haven't a clue.

They are also in mixed reception by Exaltation-Rulership and Rulership-Face

Moon coming to a sextile with Mercury retrograde in 5 units of time.

Sun coming to a square with Jupiter in 4 units of time.

I don?t have my dynamic option available to me right now, but I think Mercury actually retrogrades far back enough to conjunct Venus in the 7th. Mercury is in the Triplicity and Terms of Venus; and Venus is in the face of Mercury.

So there is perfection via sextile from the co-significator to the primary with accompanying mutual reception by dignity. And there are strong contacts of her ruler to his Sun, and his ruler to her Venus.

Intrigued by this chart, I decided to take a look at their synastry (she had his date and time of birth). His Sun closely squares his Mars, and this Mars falls in her 8th house, which according to the book by Neville is a strong indicator of sexual attraction on his part. Their Moons are conjunct, and his Moon falls in her 5th, which indicates powerful sensual, pleasurable and social overtones and it makes for a strong relationship, all other things considered.

His Juno exactly conjunct hers and trines her Venus. Composite Venus is in the 8th house and trines their composite Moon! To be honest, I really don?t understand too much about this, but it sures looks like great synastry!

At first glance, the horary could be indicating a romantic relationship?

But HOLD it right there!!!

She has a boyfriend and she?s very happy with her relationship.
And he is married to another black belt - in fact, his wife teaches class right along side him. If they were to do anything, his wife would SO kick her ass, it?s not even funny!!? (..grin..)

Question is, what is the nature of this ?coming together? of the two? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I find it hard to believe too.

My first reaction was what kind of person who?s ?very happy with her relationship? is bothering to ask a question about what?s going to happen between her and a married guy? And just how does she get the exact time of birth for her karate instructor? Maybe I don?t really want to know that.

I don?t really see a lot in this chart, which fits as this is not exactly the most pressing of questions.

She?s Jupiter in the 11th house. He?s Mercury, peregrine and about to station before turning direct. That alone seems to be the answer right there. Mercury peregrine shows that he?s a bit fickle, somewhat tricky or outright deceptive and he?s about to make an about face and go off in the other direction.

And he?s just entered into the 8th house, which can?t suggest much good.

The Moon is translating light between Venus and Mercury. Who could Venus be? Could it be his wife, as she?s sitting right there in his house all by herself?

There?s no applying connection between Mercury and Jupiter. They had that brief sextile, but that?s in the past.
