what is cazimi again?? is it within one degree, or something different?? i can't remember 23' or something esoteric like that?? lol..

Great point Ouranos! Considered the symbolism of his being with oligarchs but didn't connect it with the pardons.

I was watching it and noted 12:02pm as well. Pluto wasn't quite Cazimi at the time, the Sun was at 0 AQ 53 applying 47' 54" to Pluto at 1 AQ 43. The Sun moved into 1 AQ a few hours later and Trump didn't sign the pardon's until sometime later that evening so for practical purposes could consider that Pluto was cazimi (in the same degree) when it happened; I don't think they actually got within the 17 minutes some texts require until around 1 am on Jan 21st.

Yes, same degree is what some astrologers use.
Let's not forget the last Jupiter/Saturn conjunction at the door of Aquarius in 2020 and we get the picture of the economic impact in the world.

venus is the ruler of the ascendant and in conjunction with saturn.. essentially the first and 9/10 rulers are in conjunction which would make this conjunction an important one for the chart... as it happens donald trump has a conjunction of these 2 planets in his natal chart.. the placement of retro mars from the inauguration chart lands directly on his natal venus-saturn pair as well... below is a biwheel with trumps natal chart on the inside and the inauguration chart on the outside wheel...
the location of uranus rising in the inauguration chart is essentially on trumps midheaven.. back to the venus-saturn duo... i do think the conservative values that underline some of this new administrations approach are highlighted.. dropping DEI and wanting to claim their are only 2 sexes, is a black and white conservative type approach... this is a switch which part of me agrees with.. the idea of being given a job based on merit as opposed to DEI agenda, i can relate to... at the same time, perhaps it is a useful distraction to keep people's eyes off other important issues, such as foreign policy for example...

mars in the inauguration chart rules the 7th and 12th.. this might explain the hostility towards, panama, greenland and canada, or to anyone who is not into MAGA ideology at the expense of long term relationships and values some have come to think of that the usa holds.. if instead of a leadership role, the usa wants to adopt a bullying role on the world stage, i suppose it works.. is the mask is coming off? this would be a good thing.. it will come with consequences too, specifically a fall of the role of world leader... and perhaps this is what is being articulated with the sun-pluto on the midheaven - a loss of power, or a more cynical and manipulative power that is hard to hide.. and it appears that the opposition to this apparent power is being expressed a few different ways both internally, with the 4th house mars, and outwardly in the long term relationships the usa has traditionally had with other countries around the world...

obviously there is a lot going on and that would could comment on with this chart.. the moon in 6th in an applying to square mars is also an important part of it.. it seems to speak of an increasingly polarized and aggravated populace..

perhaps there are some bright spots to this chart, but i am having a hard time seeing them!! perhaps others can comment and enlighten me astrologically!

It is 17' before and after the exact conjunction, if I remember correctly. It is not esoteric but the spread of the solar disk.

Hi there - there's an interesting technique from Hellenistic astrology called ascensions that seems very relevant for Trump at the moment. In essence, this technique is similar to primary directions and examines the rising and culminating of planets/signs. The technique is based on the ascensional times for the zodiacal signs for the latitude of birth.

In Trump's case, the ascensional times for the signs are as follows:

What this table describes is the number of degrees (converted to years) that pass over the MC as each sign rises. So for example, at the latitude at which Trump was born, Aries and Pisces take 17.86 degrees/years (passing across the MC) to rise. By contrast, Leo and Scorpio take 38.25 degrees/years to rise.

At this present time Trump is under significant Mars-focused ascensions. If we look at the ascension of the bounds, the Mars ruled Egyptian bounds at the end of Libra and beginning of Scorpio have risen to the ascendant and Mars positions in the natal chart. This is easy to confirm. Trump's ascendant is effectively at the end of Leo. The ascensional times of Virgo and Libra are both 37.96 degrees/years (let's say 38 years). The sum of these times is 76 years. Trump is 78.5 years old. We can conclude that the beginning of Scorpio (i.e. the first bound) came to Trump's ascendant 2.5 years ago (approximately June 2022). In fact, the Mars ruled bound conjoined the ascendant in May 2022. So Trump has been living under this ascension since 2022 and will continue to do so until May 2031.

If you follow the Mars column down to the yellow highlight box you will see that Mars ruled bound of Libra (the last two degrees of the sign) came to the natal Mars position in Dec 2023. This further heightened and emboldened Trump's Martian tendencies. The Martian ruled bound of Scorpio will rise to his natal Mars position in June 2026. There is no getting away from the Trump that we have seen over the last few years: mad, bad, angry and probably dangerous to know.




The following table highlights the other Martian bounds that are active at the moment for Trump. You will see that his Mars/ascendant combination (in the Mars ruled bound of Leo) are now ascended to the position of the Sun and north node in the natal chart in the Mars ruled bound of Gemini.




Trump's chart is attached below, showing the Eqyptian bound positions of the natal planets. Although Pluto is not shown in the chart, Trump's position for this planet is 10 Leo 03, right at the end of the Venus ruled bound. This bound came to the MC in Dec 2023 and will remain on the MC until May 2030. This means that bound occupied by Trump's natal Pluto is now active on his natal MC. It may be worth noting that the Moon's position in the Saturn ruled bound of Sagittarius will come to Jupiter in August 2025.

I don't think we've seen the last of Trump!
