Re: on the theory of degrees of ( tropical zodiac) being associated with planets or death 13 by Fidibus The ancient astrologers gained their knowledge by observing the stars and events. So did I. One of my grandmothers lived on the edge of the forest without running water or electricity in a wooden house until shortly before her death in 1978. She did the same with nature and events. So me and my father knew in 2006 that my mother soon will die. Quote Fri Feb 14, 2025 9:32 am
Re: on the theory of degrees of ( tropical zodiac) being associated with planets or death 14 by Fidibus You can't learn empathy as if it were written in mathematical formulas in a prayer book. The ability to be amazed is always at the beginning. Aristoteles knew that. Quote Fri Feb 14, 2025 9:50 am

"Of all the profound teachings I have read, this only have I understood: that all harm and sorrow are my own doing and all benefit and qualities are thanks to others. Therefore all my gain I give to others; all loss i take upon myself" . a quote from the author of the book immediately follows - " He perceived this as the sole meaning of all the texts that he had studied, meditating upon it throughout his life." page 50 in a book called enlightened courage by dilgo khyentse.. Astrologically, February 26, 1871 is the founding of the empire. This also fits in that Neptune was exactly where Uranus was on the day the next Reich was founded in January 1933. Re: on the theory of degrees of ( tropical zodiac) being associated with planets or death 18 by AJ Thanks, Fidibus, for providing clarity with examples. A big thanks to James for initiating the discussion and to Georgius for contributing and sharing your knowledge of non-English works. It’s a great reminder that astrological literature isn’t always as widely available in translation as we might assume. This discussion has helped revive some of the broader historical context behind degree meanings—though, of course, that’s a topic in its own right for another time. The bibliography James shared, compiled by Philip Graves, truly highlights the depth and breadth of this subject’s history. Regards. Quote Fri Feb 14, 2025 5:00 pm
