Re: life span of a nation 250 years? 13 by Fidibus 2,5 centuries ago there had been the War of Independance USA and Pluto run into aquarius. Like now. 1,5 centuries ago there was the Civil War in USA and neptune ran into Aries. Like now. 84,5 years ago in the beginning of August 1941 Germany started Barbarossa, the war against Russia (USSR) and Uranus ran into Gemini. Like July 2025. Things appear similar as in the past. Re: life span of a nation 250 years? 14 by james_m aj thanks for giving a lot more detail and history to my superficial overview on all this, as it related to the usa... the saturn-neptune cycle has had a long association with russia and the idea of socialism/communism and those types of ideas as i understand it.. there has been speculation that this conjunction in 2026 would coincide with significant changes in russia.. another nation that seems connected to this conjunction is egypt... just how it impacts the usa - i haven't studied this closely, but going on memory the 1950's ( saturn-neptune conjunction in libra) in the usa were a time of the communist witch hunts - mccarthyism... so perhaps it can be expressed a few different ways... it is interesting what you share on the historical experience connected to uranus transit of gemini for the usa.. in both of the main charts used for the usa - going on memory - uranus is in gemini near an angle, in a conjunction to mars, if i am not mistaken.. communication, control over communication perhaps via technology and the technological tzars - musk, google, apple and etc - maybe their will be a switch up in how so much power has been amassed in so few hands? or perhaps it will be the reverse as possibly reflected in a pluto in tropical aquarius? either way, the changes of sign in tropical for these outers seems significant if you believe in tropical ingress charts, lol!! wait! let me get my essential dignity notebook out to see what is says, lolol.... we're not in kansas anymore dorothy ( georgius can play the role)! i suspect any changes that happen with the usa will coincide with changes in the rest of the world on all these fronts... perhaps AI isn't as important as it is cracked up to be, but it seems to connect to these outer planets transiting into air signs on some level... which country gets to run it's psychological narrative script to continue to control the masses?? or heaven forbid - people will decide they have had enough with their computer devices and go back to a more 'natural' way of living? i guess i am getting away from the topic here as their is so much room for speculation.. any cycle of 250 years which does happen to coincide with the length of time of the cycle of pluto is purely conjecture on mine and some other astrologers position.. the changes won't happen all at once.. rome wasn't built or torn down in a day might apply here... but i am mostly thinking of how this pluto cycle applies to the usa at this moment in time... perhaps i ought to consider the plethora of charts for the usa, but something in me is repulsed at the idea... thanks for your helpful and educational input aj - james Quote Sat Feb 15, 2025 5:19 pm
Re: life span of a nation 250 years? 15 by AJ James, you bring up a lot of great points, and I really appreciate the historical and geopolitical connections you’re making here. Yeah, the Saturn-Neptune cycle definitely has a long-running connection to Russia and socialism, so it wouldn’t be surprising if 2026 brings some major shifts over there. Egypt is an interesting one too—those conjunctions tend to show up when big ideological or religious changes happen. The fact that Egypt’s 1952 revolution happened just before the 1953 Saturn-Neptune conjunction kind of backs that up. As for the U.S., you’re totally right about Uranus in Gemini being a major factor; it adds a real revolutionary (and sometimes chaotic) edge to that transit. The idea that this could shake up control over communication and technology makes a lot of sense. AI, Big Tech, the way information is controlled—it’s all front and center right now. Whether Pluto in Aquarius shifts power back to the people or just tightens the grip of the tech giants is the big question. Your point about AI and outer planets in air signs is really interesting. Maybe AI isn’t quite the all-consuming force some people expect, but with Uranus moving into Gemini, we’re probably going to see some major shifts in how intelligence, communication, and governance play out. With Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini, it feels like we’re heading toward a showdown between control and decentralization. For sure, Pluto’s 250-year cycle isn’t the kind of thing where everything changes overnight. Like you said, Rome didn’t rise or fall in a day. This is a long-haul transformation for the U.S., and we’re just on the cusp of it right now. There are plenty of charts for the U.S., but honestly, the Pluto return alone tells us we’re in a period of deep structural shifts. How it all shakes out is the real question. Really appreciate the conversation—lots to think about here! Regards. Quote Sun Feb 16, 2025 7:17 am
