i listened to some commentary and exchange between steve bannon and jimmy dore.. i am not all that familiar with bannon, and only slightly more with dore, but i have been reading a book by naomi klein called 'doppledanger' which mentions his name quite a bit, so i thought i would explore this interview that had been shared with me.. the take away??? bannon suggests that trump is a great disrupt- in the same vein as george washington and abraham lincoln... this is quite a flattering statement to make and whether it is true or not - i have no idea, as i am not an american and well versed in the history or historical role that these other 2 presidents have had... but i was keen to see if there is a connection astrologically... i got round to this today....

my thinking is that any of the outer planets, which i consider primarily malefic, could contribute to this.. i mostly think of this word disrupt, in connection with uranus, and i knew beforehand that trump has a prominent uranus in his natal chart.. specifically he has a sun-moon opposition along the nodal axis line with uranus also directly involved, which to me strikes me as an obvious example of an uranus influence on his chart... whether you like him or hate him - the fact remains he does come across as a very disruptive force for good or bad, depending on how you want to process him and his actions....

the info is rated B, so the use of the angles is not realistic.. it is essentially a sunrise chart and there are quotes from sources pointing to his birth close to sunrise... i like sunrise charts, because it allows me to think of solar houses and the relationship of the planets with the sun in this symbolic way.. as it happens lincoln also has a close uranus nodal axis connection like trump.. lincoln is a sun in tropical aquarius, with uranus in scorpio... this is a solar house uranus in the 10th, which gives it more prominence as well.. lincolns chart is also a bowl chart like trumps with all planets contained within the opposition of mars-venus, unlike trumps chart with all planets contained within the uranus-moon opposition.. https://www.astro.com/astrology/in_jonespatterns_e.htm

washingtons chart is a bowl pattern as described by marc edmund jones if you ignore the outer planet neptune.. otherwise neptune forms the handle of a bucket chart pattern... his chart also has an angular mars, like trumps, with an additional mercury in an approx 7 degree out of sign conjunction to the midheaven... washington also has a fairly close sun-uranus square in a diurnal chart with uranus in the solar 10th house, like lincolns sun-uranus combo.. although the nodal axis and north node specifically are in the same sign as natal uranus, it is a 15 degree orb - increasing in closeness over the following years though given the position of the north node to uranus.. washington also has a venus-saturn conjunction as we see in trumps chart..

so their are some parallels, but i am not sure if this perspective on trump is a valid one.. i suppose only time will tell, and in terms of the length of history - it is much too soon to say.. just how trump is viewed 50 or 100 years from now, might be very different then how he is viewed at present..

let me play devils advocate to my own post.. i wish this would happen more often.. in fact, i would say my take is fairly spontaneous and off the cuff and i am sure many other astrologers would challenge my quick astrological parallels with other astrological inconsistencies found within the charts... but just to skim the surface and give one example which i think it is an important one, the idea of a persons mental outlook as described by mercury-moon, will be considered here...

there is no immediate and obvious relationship between the mercury and moons of each of these individual presidents.. trumps mercury and moon are separated by about 162 degrees.... his moon is obviously directly connected to sun, uranus and nodal axis making it very excitable.. his mercury on the other hand is in a loose square to neptune and rising after the sun - a nocturnal set up in a diurnal chart.... mercury also happens to be at the sun-saturn midpoint which might imply the important influence of his father in all of his thinking... i would define his mercury position as problematic for a few reasons...

on the other hand, george washingtons mercury-moon is a distance separation of 20 degrees with midheaven landing in between... mercury is in a nice sextile to uranus, while the moon is in a close square to pluto suggesting both his innovative thinking and the intensity of feeling he brings to his mental outlook and perspectives.. in washingtons diurnal chart, mercury is rising ahead of sun, prominent in the 10th house and at a good distance from the sun as well implying an independence of thought not hampered by being close to the suns rays here.. all in all - a very different set up to trumps mercury-moon set up..

with abraham lincoln the moon to mercury distance of separation is 43 degrees - an waning semisquare essentially.. mercury is in a very close trine to the planet uranus - a similar set up to george washingtons chart where the sextile between mercury and uranus is seen.. there is no such set up is in trumps mercury placement.. the moon in lincolns chart is in square to mars, the malefic of the opposite diurnal sect, if the birth time of being close to sunrise is valid... this moon is more charged with a martial and political spirit ( solar 9th house mars) and again different from the set up in trumps chart...

trump is born close to a full moon..
abraham lincoln and george washington - sun-moon phase is balsamic with more of a reflective and contemplative slant, again very different from the full moon set up found in trumps chart..

i don't follow steve bannon... it sounds like he is a type of political preacher for the right wing party and establishment... a type of guru perhaps... it would be fun to consider his chart and what exactly his blind spots are.. unfortunately their is no accurate birth time for him... he seems very much embedded in the usa military type ideology of seeing enemies or assessing them accordingly and singling out china, which is a real broken record theme that the past few usa administrations have nurtured... i don't share his viewpoint, if i am clear on it here - with regard to china.. his suggestion that trump is much like george washington and abraham lincoln was an interesting suggestion and i can see how that would inspire and galvanize a continued and strong belief in the goodness of trumps actions here.. in that regard bannon is a good friend for trump... just how accurate it is - remains to be seen... at present trump is upending a lot of structures that have been well established for a long time... perhaps the usa is in a financial pickle and needs to cut back the waste, but until the issue of the cost spent on the pentagon and department of defence is addressed, trump is trimming the lawn around the edges and not really going for it..

just considering the mercury placement of the 3 leaders, the 2 - washington and lincoln both have fairly close and friendly aspect relationship with mercury and uranus, while trump suffers from a loose square to neptune... i would tend to see the 2 with the uranus connection to mercury as having the forward thinking necessary to lead and inspire confidence in others.. obviously their is more to it then that, but i think with trump, the man may have a sense of idealism to his thinking, but one outcome which looks like a very real possibility here is the level of confusion which comes in it's wake.. maybe it is too soon to say...

finally, the most important consideration i haven't even addressed which is the ascendant and how it plays a role in the leadership style and personality.. abraham lincoln if he is born close to sunrise has tropical zodiac aquarius rising, along with his sun in the sign rising.. george washington has taurus rising, with sun in pisces, a very gentle combination and set up, offset some by the setting mars in scorpio in the descendant area... i think trumps leo rising with mars close by gives the appearance of a bull in a china shop, or maybe it is a pitbull, lol.. i don't believe he is this way inwardly, but that is the outer presentation where all the rest of the chart gets filtered thru... the style seems more self centered which these other leaders may not have exhibited to the same lethal degree..
