Understanding Sidereal Signs

1
Deb, I see that the topic where you mentioned my paper is locked. I did want to add a comment, so am starting a new topic.

I'm honored to be part of Skyscript, but my article on sidereal signs seems to be very much misplaced in the Scholarly section of Skyscript. That section is buried under the Text section of the site. My little paper isn't nearly at the level of other thesis papers in that section, all authored by Ph.D. authors. I don't even have the ability to write to write at that level.

It seems that my paper would be much better placed in the Articles for Astrologers section of Skyscript under "Zodiac and Signs." Can my paper be moved? Especially now this placement seems relevant since we have sidereal posters in the different forums on Skyscript. Also my article was actually written mainly for tropical astrologers so they have a better understanding of sidereal signs and don't have a "deer in the headlight" reaction when faced with a sidereal post.

I think it is fine to remain where it is because that section includes "scholarly explorations", and IMO, that label fits. However, it does make sense to include it under the section you suggested too, so I'll add it there as well and update here when I have done that.

(If you absolutely want me to take out of the section that currently holds it, I will, but I would choose not to if you leave this with me).

Thank you, Deb. It's fine to leave my paper where you placed it, but also a good idea to have it placed in the Articles for Astrologers section under "Zodiac and Signs." This is where most astrologers would go to read about signs of the zodiac on Skyscript, but it's quite an honor to be included in the Scholarly section. I do very much appreciate that kind of recognition. Thank you!
