I got sick lately and the last time I felt drained out like this was Sept 11, 2001 (food poisoning) and as I was watching the airplanes crashing in the World Trade Center, in my delirium, I felt all the sorrows of the world. With Pluto in my 12th House, I am somehow connected to world events and it is affecting me on the spiritual and physical level as if I was trying to carry upon my shoulders the human despair.

I have drawned a chart for the current Mercury/Venus cycle in Aries to try to get a better understanding of the world situation. But before looking at this cycle, here are a few thoughts on the larger cycles.

1) Hades/Kronos over the U.S.A Sun
The Rulebook says of this combination "Poor government, great baseness and meanness. The government does not keep its promise. Much ill fate or death by grave events"
Donald Trump has the SU = HA/KR and he showed up in the landscape in 2016 when his SA Sun reached his natal AS. A criminal is sitting in the Oval Office.
Other countries in the world with HA/KR influence right now.
Syria (square MC), Haiti (opp SU when problems started and moving to opp ME and AS), Sudan (conjunct Sun).

2) Neptune conjunct NN at the Aries Point with Sun/Saturn approaching and sesqui-quadrate Poseidon.
This one reads as "Dissolution (Neptune) of unions, connections, relationships (NN) in the world (Aries Point). Unreliable relationships, connections to the unknown, avoiding certain contacts."
We can see that what we took for granted is no longer valid. And the lies carried by the social medias or should I say "pub medias" always trying to sell you something in most cases that is false and misleading.

Only David Copperfield could potentially compete with Donald Trump.
To the extent that the Labor Party in Wales will vote a law before the elections in 2026 to ban lies in politics.
At the same time, Neptune/NN suggests new relationships (Aries Point) based on higher principles and good faith. As if we need to pray to save our democracies.
With SA/NE, there is a potential for plagues or problems with gas, air or water.

3) Now to Mercury/Venus in Aries semi-square Uranus in Taurus
We can think of this dance with a retrograde Venus as (unwelcomed) exchanges (Mercury) with a character of suddenness, unexpected and unpredictable behavior. (Uranus).

What is revealing here are the midpoints ME/UR and VE/UR in a T-Square with PL and Vulcanus (mighty changes that occur with great speed, unhealthy, rushed developments, transformations and developments too swift in their course).

The importance of this midpoint in early Taurus carries also 2 previous events.
First, the square to the JU/SA cycle at 1 Aquarius in 2020 for the socio-economic cycle in the next 20 years.
Second, the SU/PL conjunction of Donald Trump over this point when he was sworned into office. The great disrupter of the world order.
A recent poll in the US indicated that nearly 60% of americans are living from paycheck to paycheck. Strange for a country that Trump describes as the richest in the world. It shows the disconnection between the elite, the billionnaires and the population.

The opposition to Apollon/Zeus midpoint as per the Rulebook is "induction orders of the armed forces" which has mobilized NATO to rethink the protection of Europe.

Finally, the conjunction ME/VE is sitting right in the midpoint of Trump and Zelensky midpoint of their respective MCs.
Let's not forget that the current SU/MA cycle is triggering Zelensky's natal MA and semi-square Trump's Gemini planets.

i certainly hope you feel better sooner then later!

this post is more challenging and perhaps a reflection of where you are at.. it might be a reflection of where the world is at too.. i think change is the ongoing constant.. how it is interpreted is the challenge for anyone involved in astrology.. sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees, or the trees for the forest..

i would advocate for an avoidance of the media by and large.. do good works for others and see the positives.. we can only do what is in our own sphere of influence, but these actions have far ranging consequences for both us and the world we live in.. we can't see or know everything and this is a good thing.. i like to keep in mind my own ignorance, as opposed to cultivating an attitude that i know what is happening in both my world and the world i live in..

i can't comment on the hypothetical planet set ups... andre barbault was working with the outer planets, uranus, neptune and pluto and saturn in to come to some interesting historical observations integrating all these planets.. he was successful in predicting the covid pandemic via the jupiter-saturn-pluto conjunction of 2020.. he projects a very positive line up for 2026.. we aren't their yet, but perhaps enough turbulence is taking place to adjust for a better future then the one presently before our eyes!! i really don't know, but their is that..

I believe that we can all feel the uneasiness and tension collectively. Some more, some less. Wherever you are, if you feel that it's affecting you, please take a break from all the news and social media. Try as much as you can to not be force-fed with fear.

James mentioned Barbault. Reading about Barbault's predictions sure gave me hope. Sans Barbault, there are two other things that give me hope. Firstly, time and time again throughout history, the human spirit always prevails. We are all one mind. Secondly, whatever is in the dark will be revealed.

For the disruptors - what goes around, comes around.

James, I agree with you about giving to others. That's an amazing advice! I would also recommend to take some rest. Take care of your health and wellbeing. Drink fluids. Eat your vegetables. Meditate. Sleep. Enjoy the silence. If possible, spend some time in the nature (unless, of course, there might be a chance of getting mauled by a bear).
