Saturn-Rahu conjunction on April 19, 2025

Here is the latest article of James Kelleher on Saturn/Rahu conjunction on April 19, 2025.
He is a Jyotish astrologer

https://jameskelleher.com/blogs/news/th ... onjunction

He says...
"This conjunction arrives on the heels of three major astrological events that recently took place on March 29, 2025: the Vedic New Year (Chaitra Shukla Pratipada), a solar eclipse, and Saturn’s transit into Pisces. With all these converging, we can expect a wide range of intense global developments in the next couple of months."

He also shows a list of correlations between Saturn-Rahu conjunctions over the past 200 years with related events.
Blessings!

Thanks for the pointer to James Kelleher's article and pdf of Rahu/Saturn periods. He is very good and taught the only course I've ever taken on Rahu/Ketu. The nodes are kind of fascinating, esp. in what the different astrological traditions make of them, and because of their connection to eclipses.
Dr Robert Svoboda posted a "5-ish Minutes" video (his series of short videos about Ayuveda and related topics) about the transit, called "Placating Rahu and Saturn".

It's quite interesting and has helpful and practical advice for all about managing the aggravated Vata energy (air and ether, anxious, ungrounded) of Saturn and Rahu together.
Case in point: I've been letting myself stay up too late (focusing on astrology, of course on a computer screen) recently, and it is more disruptive than I usually care to admit., especially as I am getting older.
Now I need to remind myself to get back to an earlier bedtime, and change habits for the interim to cut down on computer useage at nighttime.
(The long co-presence of Rahu & Saturn in 2013 [which is on the pdf from James Keller] was memorably stressful. I wish I had known what was going on, but I hadn't really learned any practical Jyotish yet. Or much Ayurveda.)
BTW, I saw a beautiful Jupiter-Moon in the sky last night when I went out for a short walk. A relatively rare clear night in Seattle (although summer is coming). I love seeing the planets and Dr Svoboda talks elsewhere about giving the planets you see your salutations, an inner prayer, to honor them and their celestial influence.
The darshans of Guru and Chandra. No screen required!
Cheers and blessings,
