Hi im the creator of Asteroid Astrology

I would like to introduce to you all my astrology website/app Asteroid Astrology. It can be viewed at https://astrology.run

Its got features many of the other apps dont have. Features such as:
Can display a full month of transits on a single page
Over 100 Asteroids
Aspect patterns

My newest addition to the site is the aspect patterns search tool. You can Automatically search for aspect patterns such as Grand trines and Kites.
As far as im aware this is the only free website or app that can do this. It was previously only possible with expensive desktop software!

So do let me know what you all think. Also if you have any ideas for additions do let me know! Im interested in building things that are not yet available elsewhere.

The International Astronomical Union Minor Planet Center (IAU) has a list of all minor planets and asteroids last updated 2025 June 3.

Thanks for the info! At the moment I already have just over 100 and I do think ive got all the main objects and then some in there. If there is anything specific you would like to see added I could look into it. That list you provided must be in the tens of thousands long...

Alex Miller who wrote 'The Black Hole Book', a guide to the Deep Space in astrological interpretation has a list of Mythic Named Asteroids.

And he also has some ideas to search for Personal Named Asteroids.
The latter is interesting to investigate when we search for meaningful names in our life.
When we say It is written in the stars, asteroids seem to be the language behind the stars.

I am not a specialist with asteroids but here are some examples I have found.
When Pope Francis died, the asteroid Francis was conjunct the transiting Sun... and conjunct his natal MC.
The recent Paris-St-Germain winning champions league had the asteroid Pariser conjunct the transiting Moon in Leo which was also the position of their natal Sun in Leo for the first game of their season 2024-2025 in Klagenfurt, Austria.
The asteroid with the name of my daughter was right on the cusp of my natal 5th when she was born.
I don't think that they influence the outcome of an event like the planets do but they provide a cast of potential names involved in the scenario unfolding.

Just throwing some ideas here.

Hi and thanks for posting!

Ive just posted on another forum about how im mostly interested in transits and how they play out.
I dont usually give asteroids to much weight when analyzing a chart but see them as extra clues as to which way things are leaning.
Thats also the other reason for including the Bazi (Chinese Numerology) luck scores in the chart. Them scores are all calculated with numbers and no astrology is involved but more times than not the scores line up with the transits!
