I joined this forum again after many years of absence. Recently I have read Chris Brennan's Hellenistic Astrology, I am still reading and re-reading Vettius Valens, and thought of using Elon Musk's chart to try and figure out how zodiacal releasing works. So please bear with me and with my very simple and limited analysis.

According to AstroSeek Musk's Fortuna is at 15 Virgo. In November 2013 Musk entered a 12-years period ruled by Jupiter/Sagittarius, lasting until September 2025. Sagittarius is square Fortuna, so this would be a very intense and active period for Musk. A boastful retrograde Jupiter under the earth in a day chart opposes Saturn. Both planets rule Musk's eighth house: lots of money from perhaps overpriced government contracts, but this is not going to end well, and not just because of the opposition. Mars is right on the cusp of the eighth house, casting a square to Jupiter. Mars rules the tenth house: figures in authority, trying to take him down, or viceversa?

When will this overblown bubble burst?

I expect the financial upheaval and the career transformation to be complete by or around the end of 2025, when a new 27-years period ruled by Saturn will start. Haven't studied this period yet.

But, to attempt an answer to Jessica's question, at the end of May 2025 Musk was in a sub-period ruled by the Moon/Cancer. The Saturn-Jupiter opposition is again activated, but this time by Moon-conjunct-Fortuna in the second house: financial trouble and basically the beginning of the end. In Cancer we also find Mercury, which squares Uranus so during this sub-period (January 2024 - September 2025) we may expect sudden, shocking news, and I guess a massive malfunctioning of his communication systems, and basically anything that relates to the third house. Elon Musk's Sun is in the twelfth. For someone who keeps such a very high public profile, I don't think this is a good placement.
