Sigfried Uiberreither, a war criminal who escaped criminal justice - Part 1 1 by Zachariel Prologue Text installation by the artist Jochen Gerz in the archway of the Graz Castle Gate, as a memorial to the Nazi era (2008) (engl. transl.): Passerby, do you want to know where you stand? Do you want to know, innocent one, who you are? How you bend and twist when you fall prey to power, become its plaything and its victim? Do you want to know how you scream in pain? I, Sigfried Uiberreither, also known as Friedrich Schönharting, worked here from June 9, 1938, to March 31, 1940. As Governor of Styria and in the execution of my other offices, I was responsible for the deaths of many. I did not do it alone. I did not do it myself. I had collaborators. When you walk through this gate, do not feel shame only for me. Who looked for me? Who brought me to justice? Why did you remain silent? Who made you a collaborator? Univ.-Prof. Emeritus Dr. phil. Dr. h. c. Stefan Karner, a national and international renowned historian born in 1952 and named Austrian Scientist of the Year in 1995, published in 2025 a thoroughly revised second edition of the biography of Sigfried Uiberreither through Leykam University Press (1st edition January 2025, 2nd updated edition April 2025, ISBN 978-3-7011-0586-1). Amazon.de: https://www.amazon.de/Gauleiter-Uiberre ... 100&sr=8-1 Information about Stefan Karner: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_Karner Sigfried Uiberreither (baptismal name: Siegfried Josef Überreiter; alias Friedrich Schönharting) (* March 29, 1908, in Salzburg; † December 29, 1984, in Sindelfingen) was an Austrian lawyer and high-ranking official in the Nazi regime, holding the rank of SA-Obergruppenführer. Among other positions, he served as Gauleiter, Reichsstatthalter, and Reich Defense Commissioner in Styria, where he was directly responsible for numerous Nazi crimes and for maintaining National Socialist rule. (source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigfried_Uiberreither, engl. transl.) After World War II, Uiberreither escaped captivity undetected and successfully built a second life under the name Friedrich Schönharting in Sindelfingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, after secretly reuniting with his wife and sons. Unfortunately, this excellently researched and magnificently written biography by Stefan Karner, titled “GAULEITER UIBERREITHER – ZWEI LEBEN (engl. transl.: “GAULEITER UIBERREITHER – TWO LIVES”), is currently available only in German. Karner writes on page 29 of the Uiberreither biography (engl. transl.): Siegfried Josef Überreiter was born on March 29, 1908, at 2:45 a.m., the second of five children born to Dipl. Ing. Josef and Maria Anna (Marianne) Überreither, at 12 Jahnstraße, Elisabeth-Vorstadt, in Salzburg, and was baptized Roman Catholic on March 31, 1908. Stefan Karner included a footnote regarding the birth time. In the annotations on page 375, Karner writes (engl. transl.): Astrologically, at the time of his birth, the Sun was in Aries, the Moon in Aquarius, and Capricorn along with Saturn appeared as ascendants in the second house. In short, this astrological constellation suggested, among other things, a pronounced individuality and sense of authority, coupled with ambition, perseverance, strong willpower, and stamina, as well as a striving for material and social power. Karner based his interpretation of course on a birth chart calculated using the tropical zodiac. Regarding the name change from Siegfried Überreiter to Sigfried Uiberreither, Stefan Karner writes on page 31 of the Uiberreither biography (engl. transl.): His name change occurred during his first two semesters at university. At the beginning of his studies, he was still using the name Siegfried Überreiter, but starting in 1928—and in connection with his newly acquired knowledge of ancient Germanic mythology and linguistics gained in a lecture—he began using the archaic Germanic ‘Ui’ in place of the modern German ‘Ü,’ thereby becoming Uiberreiter. After about a year, he also dropped the initial ‘ie’ from his first name, changing it to Sigfried Uiberreiter. In 1933, on his doctoral graduation record, he added an ‘h’ to the ‘t’ in his surname and signed as Sigfried Uiberreither—the name he continued to use until 1948. The official approval for the name change from Überreiter to Uiberreither was granted by the Salzburg state government on May 4, 1933. In the years that followed, his immediate family and part of his extended family also adopted the new surname, which remains in use to this day. I have tried to verify or calibrate the birth time of 2:45 a.m. mentioned in the biography (there was also a foto of the birth record provided) on the basis of two critical life events (death of father and mother). Then I validated the calibrated birth time on the basis of the event "marriage". Minimizing the deviation from the exact symmetry of the event-related planetary pictures (planetary picture equations) was a key methodological criterion during the birth time calibration process. In no way do I claim to have found the "correct" time of birth of Uiberreither. I got the impression that the time of birth mentioned in the biography fits surprisingly well. I have only corrected the time of birth by half a minute (backwards). But a problem arose that I couldn't solve by searching the Internet. Unfortunately, there is contradictory information regardng the date of death of Sigfried Uiberreither's father. The information source: https://www.sn.at/wiki/Sigfried_Uiberreither lists the date of death of Josef Uiberreither als July 25th, 1962. But in the biography on page 464 ("short biographies of people close to Uiberreither") one can find the information that Josef Uiberreither died on July 30th, 1962. Later I will show why I prefer July 25th, 1962. My preference is based solely on astrology and could naturally be wrong. Birth time calibration result 02:44:30 a.m. I used this as a methodological source: https://archive.org/details/BirthTimeCorrection https://archive.org/details/thesignifieroffather According to https://www.sn.at/wiki/Sigfried_Uiberreither event "death of father": † Dipl.-Ing. Re: Sigfried Uiberreither, a war criminal who escaped criminal justice - Part 1 2 by james_m a very thorough post on the topic of this person zacherial, using microastrology... thanks... i can't fully appreciate it, but i admire your dedication to the art.. have you considered contacting the author of the biography on the issue of the fathers actual date of death?? perhaps they could shed more light on the discrepancies you've mentioned here.. Re: Sigfried Uiberreither, a war criminal who escaped criminal justice - Part 1 3 by Zachariel Thank you for your kind words! Yes, I consider to contact Stefan Karner. I will send him the two links of my postings about this vile war criminal Uiberreither who has been up to his terrible mischief in Styria during the Nazi era. Stefan Karner is one of the very, very few "brave" scientists who dare to openly write statements with regard to astrology in a scientific book! Who else dares such a thing?? Best wishes Zachariel Quote Sun Jul 13, 2025 7:55 pm
