Just rereading this old thread and thought I'd point out that Donald Trump has a close square between Neptune in H2 and Mercury in H11. Then I noticed that the H11 cusp is in late Gemini and H2 cusp is in Virgo, so both houses are ruled by Mercury!

i really don't think trump knows, but stirring things up hoping for the best might be his approach here.. it seems muddled at best... for the record elon musk who has a radical relationship with trump has a mercury-neptune 135 in his chart, if you use this hard aspect.... it is interesting how on the one hand he was completely fine with trump and his overall agenda - now he's not!!!

i am not sure who is advising either one of them, but i suspect there are other astrological factors at play beyond just the mercury-neptune we are looking at here...

Hi James and All: Indeed, those are good observations regarding Donald Trump’s 3-degree separating Mercury–Neptune square.

I often associate Mercury–Neptune contacts with artistic or musical sensitivity, sometimes even spiritual or virtuous inclinations. Trump, of course, reflects none of these—except for a well-documented tendency to be extremely liberal with facts, if not outright deceptive.

Looking more closely at his Mercury, it’s relatively isolated, lacking any other major aspects. I look at the chart and wonder about Trump's health in the coming year, Mercury SR & natal ruler square Neptune. Saturn Neptune conjunction in the 8th house, with Saturn ruling the 6th, the South node in the first house, SR, so eclipses landing close to the Asc through the year. I have a South node moving through first, but it is an eight ruler, and health issues surface. I noticed about a month back, Trump was looking tired & drained, but later miraculously appeared to look 15 years younger, maybe there is truth to the rumours of adenochrome in today's world, anything is possible. But big changes of direction for Trump as the eclipses hit his first house.
