Medical horary

Hi guys, here's a fun mystery for you all!

I wear contact lenses and have never had a problem until last night, when one disappeared round the back of my left eye. To cut a long story short, and thirty minutes of rising panic, I couldn't get it out. I went to hospital and was eventually examined by a specialist but he couldn't see anything, even after 20 minutes of painful poking around. So I asked, "Is the contact lens out?" (Image below.) Alhena rises at 9 Cancer - Robson calls this "hurt, wounded, afflicted" - rather appropriate!

I didn't really trust the doctor as he was clearly annoyed by being called out (well wouldn't you, at 8pm on a Saturday night?!!) Also my young age and intense distress I think had a negative impact on him. He would not believe that it was still in there, even though I could feel it moving. (Would I have gone to hospital if I thought it wasn't?!!) So it makes sense to see Lord 7 in detriment, showing he's not such a good doctor.

Lord 1 is the Moon in Aries. Separating from a trine to Lord 7 (nasty Saturn in Leo) makes sense here as this was the last thing to happen, (the doctor poking around in my eye). Before that the Moon opposed Mars: as ruler of the uncongenial sign the Moon is in (sign is opposite to the Moon's nature, i.e. hot and dry when the Moon is cold and moist), and as it is a debilitated malefic, I take this to show the "illness", in this case the contact lens.

However, the Moon is Voc. The next thing to happen will be it moving into Taurus, where it has essential dignity by exaltation and triplicity, and is in a sign closer to its own nature (cold and dry).

The bruising on my eyelid is now such that I can't really feel much any more. However, I am really not convinced that it has fallen out - as any of you who wear lenses know, if it falls out you know about it!

Could anyone else take a look and see what they can see (ha ha!) ? The plus point is that apparently there is no damage to my cornea at present, so for the moment at least my eyesight is okay. I have the choice of seeing a different, more experienced specialist tomorrow if it still seems to be in there.

Thanks,

Keren

PS I've just read Mark F (?) 's reply on the VOC Moon about it being "all that will happen has happened", and I'm thinking now this may be what it shows. Hence the Moon entering Taurus shows my recovery.

However, the Moon's aspects once into Taurus are to oppose Mercury - Lord 4 - going home - then Jupiter - Lord 10 - the cure, in fall of Lord 1. I'm tempted to discount these completely as they are not within orb at all. Also this saves me the prospect of having a nasty opposition to "the cure", which would no doubt be some sort of very painful invasive procedure! I would love to believe that the lens has fallen out without me noticing, but I am quite afraid that it hasn't. Anyway, I'll set my fears aside for now and be rational.

Thanks :)

Okay, so the picture won't post. Here it is: http://www.keren-happuch.co.uk/pics/pics.htm

Hi Karen!!!
I send you my opinion.
I am going to deal with explicarte something, my english is limited. Your hour of birth it is necessary to correct it can that this sonthing delays.
Your Eye problem , is because the Midpoint of Sun/Moon this square to the ASC.
The ContraAntiscio of the Midpoint of Luna/Neptuno this with the SUN, which forms a Sun/Moon/Neptun relationship.
In relation to the happened thing, with your contact lenses, if observes the DemiLunar Revolution with Precession (Sep 30, 2006, at 05:50:02 UT, Oldham, have the ASC=2?54'Libra;MC=3?53'Cancer (position of Luna/Neptuno radix) Luna=4?16'Capricornio, Sol=6?56'Libra, both angular (contact) in aspect to Neptune, which repeats to Radix Sun/Moon/Neptun. In the future being kind to the New Moons that involve Neptune, on the other hand, the last Eclipse was opposed your SUN!.
For Last, The Cancellor Gordon Brown ( check my chart in MUndane Forum), have the Mid Point Sun/Moon in aspect whith his ASC, and he has a accident in his eyes when he was young.

Keren,

Sorry you had such a bad experience with your contact lens. Here are a few thoughts about your horary for 07 OCT 2006 at 22:19 BSK Carlisle UK.

As you note, Cancer rises and you are symbolized by the Moon, which is fast in Aries in the 11th and without essential dignity. The Moon has recently separated from a trine to Saturn in Leo and an opposition to Mars in Libra. It is not applying to any Ptolemaic aspect and could be considered void of course.

To quote Lilly: ''A Planet is voyd of course, when he is seperated from a Planet, nor doth forthwith, during his being in that Sign, apply to any other: This is most usually in the Moon; in judgements doe you carefully observe whether she be voyd of course yea or no; you shall seldome see a businesse goe handsomely forward when she is so." (Christian Astrology p112)

The medical procedure is probably represented by the 6th house with Sagittarius on the cusp, ruled by Jupiter. The Moon makes no aspect to Jupiter, but using Ptolemy's system there is a mutual reception by triplicity. That is, Moon is in the triplicity of Jupiter, and Jupiter is in the triplicity of the Moon. This is one testimony of a favorable outcome. Moon applies to trine the Part of Fortune at 29 Sagittarius in the 6th. Moon is only 4 degrees away from perfecting this trine. I would take this as another favorable indicator.

The fact that the Moon does not apply to any significator (except perhaps the Part of Fortune) and that the Moon appears void of course suggests that nothing more will happen. The two favorable testimonies (Moon-Jupiter mutual recption by triplicity and Moon applying to trine PF in 4 degreess in the 6th) suggest a favorable outcome.

Your emotional state is indicated by the state of the Moon in Aries, disposed by Mars, which itself is debilitated in Libra in the 5th. In addition Mars conjoins the Sun, which traditionally rules the left eye in females. Venus in Libra also conjoins the Sun and has honor of being in its own domcile. On balance I think the honor of Venus in Libra conjunct the Sun does more to protect your left eye than the harm done by Mars in detriment in Libra. Venus trumps Mars in Libra and protects your left eye (the sun) from damage.

All in all I think you'll be ok physically though emotionally a bit upset by this experience.

Tony

PS: It occurred to me that Venus closely square the ASC of your horary and could be an auxliliary ruler of you as the querent. Since the signs from Cancer (ASC) to the Sun (your left eye) in Libra are of long ascension, this Venus square the ASC acts (in mundo) like a trine. Venus applying to the Sun protects your right eye, whereas Mars in detriment n Libra separates from the Sun and probably shows the problem with the lens that is now receding into the past. The in mundo trine from the ASC to the Sun may be another indicator of a favorable outcome.
