Soccer Prediction 1 by CleophisFlyJuice Hello. This is my first post. I have been predicting games for years now. I use Lewellyns basis: Asc is Home Team, 7th cusp Visitor team 5th cusp is Home game and 10th cusp visitor's game. etc. I also use fortuna and arabic parts Sudden advancement and Death. If someone has used the same principles, please e-mail me. I'm always looking to improve. Thanks, CFJ Quote Fri Sep 08, 2006 10:46 am
by CleophisFlyJuice Hi folks!! I'm still looking for people who use Llewelins theory on games to exchange some ideas. But I also wanted to tell everyone that if you are interested in sports prediction, you HAVE to get google earth to show you the Long/Lat of all the stdiums. If you are interested, search the net for the file: 61497-Football_clubs_RevisionZTDd or send a pm to me and I can e-mail it to you. Best regards, CFJ Quote Fri Oct 20, 2006 5:34 am
by Andrew Bevan I often find the winner fortified in the ascendant. Which arabic parts are you working with? Quote Tue Oct 31, 2006 1:53 pm
by CleophisFlyJuice Thanks, I really appreciate your interest. I had a really great day last Saturday. I cleared 850euro for the day. I was 11 for 11 in my picks. On one ticket, I played 4 home teams (paid 30euro) and won all 4 (308euro payoff). I took advantage of a weak Mercury that was about to go retrograde. In these four games, Mercury was ruling the Visitors team (7th) and the visitors score (4th). Here is one of the games for reference, please plug it into your Solar fire so you can see what I am talking about: Cesena Arezzo Natal Chart Oct 28 2006, 4:00 pm, CEDT -2:00 Cesena Italy, 44?N08'25'', 012?E15'42'' Geocentric Tropical Zodiac This was the easiest of the four games because Jupiter was only the ruler of the 10th (Home score). In the other 3, Jupiter ruled the 10th and the 9th(Visitor goalie). Anyway, if you see the chart, Arezzo had Mercury ruling their Team and Score as stated earlier. And Saturn ruled their Game(11th). I believe that the 11th is the Visitors game which includes their defense. Saturn was in Square with Mercury. When you have a weakened mercury (team/score) square their own game(saturn), it's a huge disadvantage. Then if you throw in the fact that Merc and Sat are in a T-Square with Fortuna (and Peril), it's a done deal that the Visiting team will play terrible. On the Home side, Cesena, they had their game(5th), the Moon, in sextile with Jupiter, their score(10th). Great positive aspect for the Home offense. Add in the trine from the moon to Fortuna, 100% guaranteed home victory. As for your question about which Arabic parts I use, they are: Death, Sudden Advancement and Peril. Death hinders any planet that has a bad aspect to it.. the same with peril. I also look at Sudden Advancement as a positive part that can heighten a planet with a conjunction or a trine/sextile. I also have seen where the ruler of the odds (2nd/8th) is helped with a positive aspect to sudden advancement. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I would really like some feedback. If you want me to e-mail you a JPG of the game, please e-mail me at tbone(at)home.se Thanks, CFJ Quote Wed Nov 01, 2006 7:50 am
by Andrew Bevan Hmmm... I find your usage of Arabic Parts quite fascinating. I wouldn't mind hearing more this topic. I have no experience with the Part of Sudden advancement or the Part of Peril. Got a site with charts? Quote Wed Nov 01, 2006 4:27 pm
by Ficina Hi CFJ, Congrats on your Saturday successes - very impressive! And thanks for explaining Llewellyn's method which I've never heard of before. I shall give it a try. Does the method include a way of predicting correct scores? I don't know anything about Serie B. Are the fixtures similar to English ones where most of the games are played at the same time and it's a case of having to pick out the few that are played at different times? Cheers, Ficina Quote Wed Nov 01, 2006 4:38 pm
by CleophisFlyJuice Andrew: I don't have a site but but if you want, I can send some JPGs (this site does not allow attachments) to you e-mail address. CFJ Fic: Series B is like most others. It's ok that they are the same time. It's the longitude and latitude that make the small difference that makes us play one over the others. I like to look at all the games, see which way the planets are leaning (home or visitor) and then look throughout the games atthe same and pick the best to be sure. Sometimes two win with the same aspects. Asa for Llewellyn, I use just the basic planet selection: 1st Home team/7th Visitor team, 4th Visitor score/10th Home Score. I am not obsessed with the 5th as he is. It is good for the Home teams planets to be in the 5th but not really the Visitors rulers. The Home planets in the home houses, Visitors planets in the Vis houses. The most important thing is that the teams rulers have good aspects among themselves. If both teams are good to eachother, then your looking at a draw (a good payoff). That's just the very basics. I have worked on this for years and I finally had a break-through with Google Earth. I found that the stadiums have to be precise Long/Lat to give a true reading. If you would like some examples, please let me know. regards, CFJ Last edited by CleophisFlyJuice on Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:34 pm, edited 1 time in total. Quote Wed Nov 01, 2006 4:41 pm
by Andrew Bevan I am fascinated - lets keep the disussion going. Sports/competitions are interesting. The special events make more sense. League matches are played virtually the same place and same time in small nations like England or Norway, so I hesitate to cast a judgement on the event chart alone. However, if Norway and England were playing each other in football I would study how the Moon related to Scorpio and Aries. My approach to league or cup matches (when several matches were played in parallell) would be to study the signs ruling those cities or teams (London represented by many teams). In many cases the sign ruling the town or team may not be known - but this gives a great opportunity to gather information on that subject - whether certain teams perform better when certain signs are dignified or in the foreground. I the home team is ruled by the ascendant and generally in favour, I think there must be instances where the ascendant rules the favourite or title holder. Picking the odds in a competition makes sense. But when it comes to the lotto - does the money follow the numbers or the people? Just a question. Any opinions? Quote Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:30 pm
by CleophisFlyJuice Just a quick note today because there are about 100 games on Saturday and another 100 Sunday.... I have a lot of reading to do. I just wanted to say one thing about the question about who the ascendant belongs to in reading a game. If you look at last weeks Chelsea game, it was an obvious win for the visitor (Chelsea) ONLY if you use the 7th as the Team ruler for Chelsea. And I won some $$$ last night because I played Leiria in Portugal to win and they were the the visitor and the underdogs at 3.1... and I used the 7th as their ruler as usual. I'll elaborate more on Monday. Thanks for the great discussion, CFJ Quote Sat Nov 04, 2006 6:41 am
by Ficina Hi CFJ, The Chelsea game was one of the games I looked at last Saturday because they were playing at a different time, 12.45. Astrology aside, it was pretty unlikely that they'd lose against Sheff Utd but I couldn't see an obvious win for them in the chart. You've certainly got your work cut out looking at 200 games! You look at matches all over Europe then? I'm sticking with two matches today - Fulham and Newcastle, both of which I think will be draws. But, as is often the case, given the number of conflicting testimonies I won't be putting any money on. Regarding who gets the Asc, the Fulham v Everton game is interesting because the bookies' odds are exactly the same for both teams. This would make things difficult for people who prefer to give the Asc to the favourites. Look forward to hearing how you got on. Good luck! Ficina Quote Sat Nov 04, 2006 10:56 am
by CleophisFlyJuice Hey Ficina... I'm in the midst of looking at the games. Very tough lately because of all these conjunctions. But I must repeat, the Home team is ALWAYS the asc. Llewelyn states it and I have been doing charts for years. I will go into detail about that Chelsea game (since you already read it) later to point out the aspects that made me play them in a easy win. Regards, CFJ PS As for so many games... sometimes I'll flip through ALL 40 England games because the aspects are so inconclusive, They are not wort wasting time. Quote Sat Nov 04, 2006 11:20 am
by Ficina But I must repeat, the Home team is ALWAYS the asc. Llewelyn states it and I have been doing charts for years. You are preaching to the choir here (as the Americans would say) as I too have been doing charts for many years and have always given the home team the Asc. The only times I give the favourite the Asc is when the game is played on neutral ground, e.g. all World Cup matches, all cup finals and usually semi-finals too. However, there are people who use different methods (even giving the away team the Asc!) and claim to get correct results. This is one of the irritating things about astrology. I guess it's the same old story - pick the method, technique etc that works best for you, i.e. gives the most consistent results. Hey-ho.... Ficina Quote Sat Nov 04, 2006 1:16 pm
