A friend started chatting with a fellow online. A couple days later, he vanished. It's only been a few days, but she's an impatient aries and wants to know what's going on (my paranoid and obsessive virgo self can sympathize!). So we did a chart asking "Is he still interested?" for 6:48 am, Newport RI.

What I get is this, and I'm very interested in learning, so please pick me apart if I'm wrong. (feel free to play along...the answer should reveal itself in a week or so and I will keep you all posted)

First off, the ascendant is Sagittarius, making her ruler Jupiter in the twelfth house. She is...confused and "in the dark right now" Jupiter is also at the end of combustion. The sun moving away suggests the confusion will lift soon. And Jupiter is in its sign of rulership and dignified by term, so really, she's in a very strong position even if she doesn't feel or realize it.

Now...for his ruler...is it the seventh (partner) or fifth (new loves)...I think both can be readable, but we'll go with the seventh. there's no applying aspect between jupiter and mercury (ruler of the seventh) Usually this is a "no" answer, but given that they have not yet met and have only exchanged a few e-mails, perhaps this is more indicative of the fact that there still is no contact between them. However, Mars, ruler of the fifth house of romance and fun sex conjuncts both of them. IF they do come together it will be with fun fifth house mars energy. Also, there is an applying trine between the moon and his ruler. A good sign for coming together.

So what's the hold up? His ruler mercury is in the twelfth house of hospitals, which is also his sixth house. And he's a doctor. I take this as meaning that he is very busy at work and that may be the reason for the halt in communication, especially with Saturn in the questid's third house squaring mars, ruler of the fifth. Too much work, no time for talking love. Must be responsible! says saturn.

Another thing noticed...the moon will cross uranus before perfecting its trine to mercury, and it will do so in the third house. So there may be some unexpected communication? The only thing I can't decipher is who will initiate the communication, the moon is the one moving, suggesting the querent...but the fact he appears busy suggests perhaps a need to be patient.

Hmm...will be interesting to see what happens.

update: He emailed her a very flirtatious e-mail (moon crossing uranus maybe?) So looks like things are going well for the girl.

work is interfering and by the 9th I'd say they will probably be closer. (He'll overcome the work) Granny
