Okay in the last week I"ve had a few people ask me about and i"ve read a few charts where the person wants to know about romantic interest, basically will we get together, in almost every instance I've thought no, because they were Jupiter Mercury significators and Mars stands between them, but I notice come the 10th Mercury will overtake Mars to conj with Jupiter, did I misjudge, does this mean that Mercury person will overcome mars and join Jupiter or is it a matter of, At the time of the question the answer is no, but if the question comes up after mercury overtakes Jupiter the answer would be different?

in other words, at this time, NO, but same time on 10th, hey a connection?

OR was I wrong and chart shows Mercury overcoming to join Jupiter?

I have always been under the impression that the factors in a chart are usually 'frozen' at the time of reading, e.g. if Mars, between the two significators, prohibits the perfection of the aspect, then that means that there is something in life that will prohibit the fulfillment of the question, regardless of the fact that Mars moves on later. If this weren't the case, then all charts would disregard the prohibitions, since the planets are *always* in movement. If the question came up again after the aspect was completed, then obviously one would get a different answer as the prohibition is no longer in place!
