A festive illness 1 by kerenhappuch Hi guys, I felt myself catching a cold on the 23rd. This developed into a terrible flu on Christmas Day, with hot and cold sweats, a very painful cough and headache. (The worst Christmas Day ever ) On Boxing Day I felt better, so went into town to see a friend. Big mistake - the day after, I felt worse, and this morning, feel utterly wretched. So I asked, what's going on with my health? I want to know when I'll get better, or if this illness will develop into something worse. 06:25am 28/12/06 Carlisle UK 54n54, 002w59 7 Sag rises. Immediately we see Jupiter on the Asc. This fits very well with my understanding of the significations of Jupiter, and on the Skyscript website "inflammations of the lungs" are listed under Jupiter. He seems to have no negative aspects, so we can take Jupiter to show the illness. Frawley says that if the illness is shown by a mutable sign it will come and go with good days and bad days, and I would agree with that! The one thing that bothers me about this chart is the early degree of the sign. If we're looking for timing then does 7 degrees shows the length of illness I've already been through, and that I have 23 degrees left to go? If so: I've been ill for 4 days already. If this corresponds to 7 degrees then I have 13 days left to go... But then Jupiter enters Capricorn, a cold and dry sign which still does not match Jupiter's hot and moist nature. Aquarius is the next hot and moist sign. So maybe this method of timing is inappropriate in this case. I'd still like to know when I'll get better though! Please, any thoughts would be most helpful.
