Does someone have an opinion about how to gauge the timing of perfection for a translation of light? As there could be a variety of factors involved, I was wondering if there was some detail that I'm overlooking.

Should it be judged simply according to when and how the translating planet perfects its application with a significator (including of course the nature of the application, reception, house position, etc.)?

What about a Collection of light?

Which brings me to another question. If we have two significators applying to good aspect out of good houses AND the Moon is translating between the two, should I look only to the significators for timing since the support from the Moon is less essential in bringing about the desired outcome?

Or should I consider the Moon's movement since, in almost every case, the Moon will perfect with a significator before the significators will? (For the sake of simplicity, I'm ssuming the Moon's application isn't bringing a negative event to the significators.)

Any firm opinions? Traditional sources on this subject would be welcome...
