Where will Dad live? 1 by Moondance7 My father seems to be recovering pretty well from his recent bout with stroke/TIA and other problems. We are trying to convince him he cannot live alone.. He will want to live with his adored but abusive son, no doubt, but we are hoping to convince him to live with one of us daughters , or sell his farm to one sister and allow her and her husband to care for him at the farm, which he doesn't really want to leave. What do you see in answer to my question? I used fourth house, and fourth from that. There was Jupiter, a masculine sign, so it looks like the idiot brother. Is there a more traditional way of ascertaining this? Quote Mon Feb 19, 2007 4:49 pm
by piglet Hi Moondance7, Before you go any further, I'd take note of the late degree ascendant, Algol on the ascendant, and the Moon, which at the moment of your chart has just perfected its last aspect before going void of course. The chart may well be readable, but I'd take it as a warning to be careful! With Algol on the ascendant, maybe you've 'lost your head' in your anxiety about your dad? 3 by Moondance7 Hi, Piglet. It looks closer to the Weeping Sisters to me, which made me bet on my brother. The moon VOC is to be expected, I feel, in this situation- it just points out our helplessness to influence my father. What I would really like to know is if there is a traditional sequence of signifying sibs? Perhaps counting houses from the radical 3rd? Does anyone know? Quote Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:12 pm
by piglet Hi Moondance7, I personally wouldn't read this chart, as there are so many red flags and too many factors (or factions) to consider, but you might try the 4th from the 4th for your dad's home, the 5th from the 4th for the firstborn child, the 3rd from that 5th for the secondborn child, etc. to see where the significators are placed, and link them back to the radix 4th house. I can't get your chart to upload again (Mercury Rx, tsk) to have another look myself. Weeping Sisters and Algol notwithstanding, it's still a chart littered with 'too late' indicators; it may be that you can actually do very little in these circumstances... it's a very difficult situation, I know... 6 by Moondance7 An update: my father developed rapid atrial fibrillation in his heart and almost died, but recovered and is in his own home, with the assistance of a nurse, one daughter and an aide. I thought with all the negatives Piglet saw in the chart, he was going to die, but I guess not this time. Quote Mon Feb 26, 2007 3:11 am
by piglet Oh, goodness, Moondance7! I wasn't thinking that you'd interpret my grim warnings as being your father's death, only that the whole 'moving house' thing seemed, according to the chart, to be a non-starter, which it has proven: he's still at his own house! I'm very sorry if I caused you further anxiety! Quote Mon Feb 26, 2007 10:15 am
by Moondance7 Piglet, remember I have a Cancer sun, moon, mercury and venus, with a Virgo ascendant- I take ANY opportunity to worry about ANYTHING. You were a dear to answer, thanks. Quote Mon Feb 26, 2007 4:31 pm
by astro-teacher All figures cast that start on a bad Ascending degree should be broken and not judged. This is especially important for Horary because they will lead to an incorrect judgment.
