I'm so excited !!

Hi,

At last I have my User ID. I'm so excited.

So I'm reasoanble at modern natal astrology and this is my second attempt to get my head around Horary.

It's magic. I paid for a reading 2 years ago and the information I got back was spot on.

I tend to leave Horary/ Tarrot to the last case senario. It's just too powerfull to over use.

Anyway Hi :)

Something had been going round my mind for a while and I could not get a feeling on it so I thought I'd ask the Universe.

It's fair to say that although this is a serious Question that will be good to know the answer it is also a good opportunity to lay out what I see in the chart and ask kindly for some meat to be put on the bones by wiser ones.

So it is a nice romantic question.

"Will she come and visit me?"

I think that is a clear question but I have noticed some people asking open questions rather than closed ones. (Query I? I thought they had to be simple closed, YES, NO answered)

Now I don't think it is necessary to say, but I have some difficulty describing who she is. She was a previous "friend" and I suppose a visit would be time to see where we are with each other. I'd like the company.

Further, this involves a long journey so it's a 9th house Querised?

(Query II? Is that important, because really I am pretty loose in my feeling in this example)

Anyway.

The data is 15.29 CET Genolhac France 3e57 44n21 and for those who can the is the link to astro.com

Now I do not want to prejudice this but ALL COMMENTS are welcome. It is a learning experience for me. I'm sure all info will help in the academic and real life way. I'll be pleased to fill in gaps later.

So me as Querant Asc lattish in Leo with Satrun retro and Moon.

Sun in 8th closing in on Uranus and NN. (I know Uri is not tradiitonal but gives some feel to the background)

So 8th is not great, succedent house. Pisces?

(this is where i get a bit lost. We can make general statements about Sun in Pisces but I feel Trad Horary is more precise)

(Query III? Where should I read up on the precise essentials? I notice something on Deb site but couldn't find again)

I notice that the Sun is closing in on Jupiter in Sag. It will make a square. I feel this is a good sign. If not VERY VERY VERY VERY good ho ho.

Again Sag naturally fits in 9th. (QueryIV? is that correct logic)

That's all I know to say.

As to her in the 9th. That's Aries with Mars in 6th house Aquarius. Again Mars likes 6th but (Query V? does that mean likes in a destructive way?

Venus in 9th. A journey related to Love? Taurus on MC.

We'll turn the chart in a minute.

Abit I don't know where to start with is Saturn and the Moon.

Saturn can be good in 1st. But here it is retro. It receives a good 120 from Jupiter in Sag. Closing.

The Moon I know is important. It's seperating from Saturn. Don't know what that means.

Last thing is that I didn't know it was an eclipse that day though I felt something was up.

Capricorn on the 6th.

Don't be shy I know there is plenty of "tough" news in this but it is a good way to learn.

I think we all know that being able to deliver tough facts is equally as empowering to the receiver as only hearing good news.

(Query VI? Do you just use the same house systems?)

If you turn the chart so 9th becomes 1st I think some interesting things happen.

Mars moves into 10th. Angular. Sun to 12th. Is that me? Libra to 7th. In fact the signs take up their natural places.

Neptune clouding Mercury. Closing aspect.

Saturn in 5th.

Lots of hard things but I can't delineate them other than in a general way.

What do you think?
Yikkes!

I think you are making the chart too complicated!

Use the 1st house and the Moon for you; use the 7th (I guess: it depends on what kind of 'friend' she used to be. If girlfriend, then the 7th; otherwise 11th). Mercury is also her co-significator as it is in the 7th.

Use the 3rd house for communications; 5th house for romantic *intentions*.

I would ignore the outer planets (Neptune, Uranus, Pluto) unless they are screaming to be noticed. Neptune is very close to the 7th cusp. You might want to see whether there are some 'rose-tinted glasses' being worn.

You needn't look at anything else in the chart until you are clear about the relationships between the above significators.

There are many, many excellent resources on this site to help you. I always recommend Lilly's Christian Astrology Book 2 as there are many excellent examples in there.

:)

Thank you.

In my mind the question is will she travel?

For me that is the crux. So would that not be 9th house question?

Also does Satun not have a big influence on this being so close to the Asc.

Could you answer those questions while I dig around?

I see her as a companion.
Yikkes!

Saturn is the ruler of the 7th house in your chart. If you are using the 7th house to represent her, then Saturn in the 1st house is significant. If you are using the 11th house of platonic friends to represent her, then Saturn will mean something else. :) If she lives overseas, then you would look to the 9th house significator, the house it occupies, its condition, and its relationship to both her and you.

5
am I to understand the question was asked 5 March 2007? at 15.29 CET, is that what you are saying? I'm not clear on the date.

because what I get from the chart is ... Jupiter, ruler ninth in in own sign in 5th Sun and uranus are both square jupiter, that does not seem like a very good application for travel to see you?

If she is 7th house, then she is in poor condition though thinking of you.

if she is 11th house then she is in her own 9th house and in a much better condition to consider travel, mercury in not in his terms triplicity or face, but has all those things in Aquarius, so even though retrograde not in a terible position. I would think not inclined to travel at this time however.

The sun in not in the best of condition in this chart, it gives the impression you dont want her to travel? sun square Jupiter? Or perhaps you are in upheaval about travel? its a bit odd that it shows you square Jupiter and not saturn or mercury square jupiter?

wellt he chart makes me wonder what your motive for the question is.

I must admit that I lay awake this morning debating who she is.

Sorry it was Friday 2nd March 07.

I'm not going to be squeezed into a convenient 7th house.

I'd like the company more than anything so I think it is more of a 3rd house thing.

I think you are right. I'd like to see if she can make up her mind actually to do something for her self.

Like I said I tend only to resort to "mystical" solutions when the more earthly ones fail me. This is the case here.

There are lots of perceived obstacles but they would dissappear should the girl find a bit of motivation, I feel.

She'll receive my invitation this morning

OK so I've tried the chart on the basis that she is 3rd. I'd like some company in my "exile".

Venus is in Face but in detriment in Aries. So I think that suggest a negative situation. And one that will become even more apparent as the days go on. Best to leave it.

5th house has Jupiter. So Venus is closing to make a 120 but will move out of face before that occurs.

It is closing to make I think a grand trine with Saturn as well.

Sorry Saturn must effect me because it is nearly on the cusp of the Asc. Please is this not so in Horary?

Don't be sad it exactly reflects me just now. All around me gorges, ruins, castles, mines; and as if to rub it in I'm awoken in the morning by the Owls bringing in their kills. "Aoj keep the noise down"

If you turn the chart she gets Sag with Jup in 2nd. Sun moves to 6th. 9th Gemini with Neptune clouding judgement.

I see your point about no link. Venus only makes a 30 with the Sun. So it would have to have been a sudden decision which it was in my mind.

All along I felt it was an impossibility but that is not a word I usually respect.

I did say that it was an exercise in horary and must admit it has opened a few doors in terms of the bigger picture of Horary. It really does throw a lot of light on matters, doesn't it!

I'd like to know a little more about Sun in 8th. Can it only be bad. What about Karma? The Node and the Eclipse? If this girl could think in those terms then I think it could be a really nice "feindship".

I also think that for her push might just come to shove. Travel, Mercury in Face in Aquarius. Closing on the Angle. Neptune clouding judgement. I think she thinks too much. Maybe she could escape her negative situation with Neptune's help.

Anyway all good stuff.

I don't think the 3rd would be the appropriate house to choose, unless she is your sister or a neighbour.

I would choose the 11th if it is companionship you want; otherwise it would still have to fall into the 7th.

Cheers,
AG :)

Really can't get the details of this.

So I'm 8th which nobodies really commented on. A matter of Death?
Could well mean then end of my ways.

Saturn linking to 8th. Death comes. but approaches Uranus in a 150. Retro?

My noble view of myself is going to hit the buffers?

Moon moves to oppose 11th house ruler Merc. Don't know what that means but it is her 9th from 11th. Neptune blurring the details. Wouldn't be a bad thing.

Sag Jup in 5th. This is a really good sign re Travel. Must be.

Scorpio on 4th. Life or Death about my old age.
Yikkes!

No, you are represented by the 1st house, the Ascendant, which I gather is the Sun in this chart. Your friend will either be represented by the 7th house of partnership, in this case Saturn, or the 11th house of friendship. Look for the planets that represent these houses: are they applying or separating by aspect? Where is the Moon (which will also represent you as the querent)? Is it in good condition? Is it making any aspects to either of the two other planets? Jupiter translates the light between Saturn and the Sun. What does Jupiter represent?

These are the fundamentals of a horary chart. The moon will be one of the most important things to look at, before you look at anything else!

:)

This just gets more fascinating. Thanks for your comments.

Didn't see Aquarius on 7th.

Saturn is in detriment on Asc. What does that mean? tight tight aspect to Asc.

Moon makes a 'junct to Sa'turn.

Jupiter in Sag in 5th makes tight aspects 120 and 60 to Asc and Dsc effectively linking me to her I think.

Nearly making aspects to all signifiers.

Only question is the Moon. It is running away from the situation.

Who is more important the Moon or Sun?

Moon void of course.

Can't make it out.

Yikkes!
I remember Sue's advice which was posted not so long ago in this forum, in which she said something like this: getting significators right is one of the basis of Horary and the best way to start is to read Deb's book 'Houses; the temple of the Sky'.
The book will clear many of your confusions.
