13 by Deb I think that is a clear question but I have noticed some people asking open questions rather than closed ones. (Query I? I thought they had to be simple closed, YES, NO answered) Not at all. If you just want a simple yes or no answer then you may as well flip a coin. The greater value of horary is that it has the potential to expand your understanding of situations you are involved in, so you can realise where your hopes and expectations fit in with those of others, and make appropriate choices for yourself. I have some difficulty describing who she is. She was a previous "friend" and I suppose a visit would be time to see where we are with each other. I'd like the company. Further, this involves a long journey so it's a 9th house Querised? (Query II? Is that important, because really I am pretty loose in my feeling in this example) You describe this as ?a nice romantic question?, so you really need to think through what your relationship with this woman is ? or what you are hoping it to be. If in doubt, then because this query is focused on the possible meeting between you and another person, I would signify that ?other person? by the 7th house and its ruler. In any event, it is wise to consider the 7th house in any matter that concerns your ability to form a relationship with another. If the 7th house is afflicted, even in a ?friendship matter? it suggests that there will be some kind of division between you. (Query III? Where should I read up on the precise essentials? I notice something on Deb site but couldn't find again) In case you haven?t seen this, there are some introductory tutorials at http://www.skyscript.co.uk/horary_intro.html They should give you a feel for how to get started. Then if you feel this is really motivated by the desire for a relationship with this woman, it might be helpful to read the article on ?horary love charts? at http://www.skyscript.co.uk/relationships.html Good luck Deb Quote Thu Mar 08, 2007 10:49 am
14 by Yikkes! I haven't had that sort of sinking feeling since I was at Uni. Sort of 8/20 for an assignment that you put your Soul into. I've printed off all the notes and am reading through them. If she is 7th then it is fair to say that she is in an afflicted state. I suppose I'm challanging her to break out of that situation as a sign of commitment. Das ist kein ein ban strass or something close to that. Still few comments on my Sun in 8th. I think it is vital in Astrology to be able to define negatives as well. But I'll be taking the Arsenic tomorrow. Homeopathic that is. Yikkes! Quote Thu Mar 08, 2007 12:59 pm
15 by Gunhilde The Sun in the 8th indicates that you are in a state of anxiety or despair, the 8th being one of the 'darkest' houses, and also a bit powerless; I wouldn't interpret it as being 'death' unless the question was about death. As it is you are clearly in an agitated or confused state about this person, and being in the 8th shows this clearly. There is a good section on the site in the 'horary section' about the meanings of the houses in horary and other branches of astrology. It's definitely worth a look! Quote Thu Mar 08, 2007 1:23 pm
16 by Deb Hope I didn?t demoralise you ? that wasn?t my intention! But keep putting your heart and soul into this, it?s worth it in the long run. Nothing less will suffice. Welcome to the love it-hate it world of horary Quote Thu Mar 08, 2007 1:37 pm
