Did I leave the window open? 1 by kali A client called saying I left their window open after doing work at their home. For the life of me I can't remember doing so. I never open other people's windows. Anyway, I'm upset and wonder if I did open the window but just not conscious of doing so. March 27, 2007 @ 5:14 pm Aiken, SC 33n33, 81w43. Virgo is rising and I'm ruled by Mercury. This does signify me as I'm doing a service for my clients. Mercury is Asc. triplicity ruler and terms ruler. I am usually aware of the tiniest detail. Mercury is in detriment in Pieces on the angle in the 7th. I thought this might signify me being by the window. (If a lost item is on an angle your to look near a door or window). Otherwise, I'm not sure why Mercury would be on the 7th and thought maybe the chart was not radical because it didn't describe the situation. Good reasoning or no? With Mercury in Pieces I thought I could very well have been daydreaming and not paying attention. Moon in Leo is on the cusp of the 12th signifying again that I may have been in the world of my imagination and not being aware of what I'm doing. Mercury or the Moon are not making any separating aspects which I thought would mean I did not do the deed. Mercury and Moon make nice aspects to the Sun and Venus so I feel that all will turn out well and I will gain the confidence back of my clients. If I take the ruler of 7th Jupiter as my clients, they are in the 4th house, in their own home. Makes me think they opened the window and don't remember. Although when I first came to the home I don't remember seeing the window open. Could Mercury in detriment on an angle (by the window) and Moon in 12th show that I did open the window and the reason I don't remember? Any thoughts would be welcome. kali Quote Tue Mar 27, 2007 11:42 pm
by Deb Hi Kali What time zone are you using? Also, why do you say "If a lost item is on an angle your to look near a door or window"? I'm curious where you got that rule from. Quote Wed Mar 28, 2007 10:26 am
by kali Hi Deb: Time zone is EDT. I was reading about lost items from the 1st edition of The Horary Practitioner. They have see Christian Astrology, p. 50-56, 202-204. It says, "If on a cusp, it is near a door, gate, or window'. I know, I'm probably getting a bit to creative here. I would imagine 4th might be a better choice being part of the home? kali Quote Wed Mar 28, 2007 12:24 pm
by kali On third thought 8th house, other people's property might be a good choice? Moon trines Sun, exalted and in triplicity in Aries in 8th. Mars rules 8th and in the 6th also shows doing service on another's property but it is peregrine, ruled by a bad Saturn whose in the 12th. This seems to spell out that the window was probably left open by me. The Moon trine to Sun might mean that all will be well when I next see them. But I'm not well thinking I'm losing my mind. kali Quote Wed Mar 28, 2007 12:57 pm
by Deb Hi Kali, I get the asc at 5.42 Virgo ? but I am not sure if I have the right chart because it doesn?t place the Moon on the cusp of the 12th house, as you?ve described it. The comment from Lilly is on p.203, but it is referring to a sign cusp, not a house cusp, and there is no specific mention of windows: ?If your Significator be going out of one Signe and entering another, the thing is behind something or other, or is carelesly fallen downe betwixt two rooms, or neer the Threshold, or joyning together of two rooms, and is higher or lower in the place, according to the nature of the Signe, &c.? I asked because you would normally expect air signs to signify windows or places near to sources of light. Your significator is in a water sign, not near a sign boundary, so unless this is a bathroom window or perhaps a kitchen window near a sink, I wouldn?t see this as describing you being near the scene of the crime. If you did it, then there ought to be something descriptive about the present placements of the Moon or Mercury, and their past aspects. But there?s nothing, so I would say ?not guilty? due to insufficient evidence Last edited by Deb on Wed Mar 28, 2007 1:17 pm, edited 1 time in total. Quote Wed Mar 28, 2007 1:15 pm

by kali Hi Deb: The data is correct. I put it in another astro program and came up with same cusps. Asc. 6.14 Virgo and Moon on 12th. hmmmm Ok, I see the problem with the quote I'm referencing. A couple paragraphs from quote they had changed references from the one . The rule came from Goldstein-Jacobson (p.154). The window was a bathroom and with the Moon on the 12th that would be a reason, imo. This would just be showing the situation, right? And the past aspects show the deed? Hi pankajdubey: Taking the 3rd into consideration as an allegation works. Ruler Mars is in 6th house of service and rules 8th, other's property. Peregrine, opposite and separating from Saturn. At first I thought this might mean a neighbor might have come over. But I can't help but think Mars in the 6th would also signify me because I was providing a service and the separation would be the evidence of my guilt. Would I be wrong in making this signification? No harm was done. They were away for the weekend and didn't like their property not being left secure. I'm often in the position of having to secure their home and am not pleased to be in this embarrassing position. Thanks, kali Quote Wed Mar 28, 2007 3:45 pm
by kali Hi Deb: I discovered why our Moon positions were different. I was using Alcabitius house system. Sorry. kali Quote Thu Mar 29, 2007 11:36 am
