Hindsight being 20-20, we can see the successful outcome in Mercury, your significator, applying to dignified Venus L.9 in 9 also ruling the 2nd of income. That plus Fortuna in the 1st house and a powerful angular Jupiter (natural significator of higher education) might have alerted us to a positive response to your question.

Just been looking through some old charts of mine and found the "Will I get the scholarship" chart, the data for which is posted earlier in this thread. The Moon in Cancer (used as L1) applied to oppose L10 (Mercury in Capricorn). In my post at the time I mentioned I thought I might live to regret it - well this was indeed the case! I have since moved universities, due in part to the excessive pressures placed upon me as a result of the conditions of the scholarship, and as a result I no longer receive it.
This is a good example of how a thing shown by an opposition may come to pass but will not last, and/or will bring negative results. There is also the fact that L10 recieves the Moon into her detriment, showing that I will be harmed by the scholarship.
It's also interesting that this chart had a long-term validity, as I completed the first year at that university, under unpleasant conditions, before changing university. Ie the "break up" shown by the opposition took just under a year to be fully realised.
Just thought it would be useful to post the outcome now it's known!
