My question was as a Horary but an Event would have been only 18 mins later and I think still valid.

Here's my original workings.

OK I?ve done the Astrology.

I was supporting Utd so they are the Ascendant.

Libra rising which puts Venus in Taurus 8th house.

That in itself IS BAD news and suggests defeat.

Latish chart at 23'20", not good.

Moon making a trine to Venus and both well placed so that goes against the first statement but only suggests a good defeat.

(Venus is void of course which is more bad news ? NOT TRUE)

Sorry bad news for Utd in (many) ways.


Now we turn to Roma.

They are represented by Aries and therefore Mars in 5th. That is good news for a sports team.

(Applying square to Venus across cusp.)

Now interestingly Mars is in triplicity in Pisces meaning power.

Only problem is that Mars in 5th suggest really bad tempered and ill behaviour so probably lots of fouling.

Jupiter in Sag so more power to Mars.

North Node in 5th evenmore good news for Roma.


Note Mars in 5th also points to alcohol or drug fuelled trouble in the stadium.

SORRY BUT UTD WILL LOOSE A FRUSTRATING TIE.

THEY WILL BE BEATEN.

I?m not going to predict the score but the match will be summed up by very aggressive Roma frustrating Utd who loose.

Probably only just. I?d say only one real goal in it.


BUT

The score was Utd 7 ? Roma 1 (tie = Utd 8 ? Roma 3)

Only thing I can see is that Mars is received into detriment and Venus some how strengthened by it?s exaltation in Pisces.

That's really all I can see unless it?s this depositor thingy.

And Mars in 5th means wholly unfortunate for Aries but I don't think it works like that.

IS THAT THE MISTAKE? IN FACT MARS IS IN POOR SHAPE!

Or Sun on the Dsc but also don't think that effects Mars.

Or Mars very very very tight conjunct to Sadalmelik but that would be fortunate unless it sort of double whammies the suggested reception I talked about above.

Moon in triplicity in Cap applying trine to Venus.

Other possibility is a sort of rebirth of Utd.

Yeh You're probably right but I would hope Horary would still answer this.

Someone could move it if it is better suited in the Sports.

So I didn't consider the POF which the Moon applies to in conjunction and Venus seperates from in trine.

Also Moon applies aspects to all the angles, as does the POF.

Not totally sure how influential those last 2 are or even good.

But my feeling is yes.

Another Author states

"Look to see which teams ruler is the best dignified.
Look to see where the Part of Fortune is and which team does it favor. "

So the question for me is eventhough Venus is in Taurus, perhaps being supported by the Moon's night triplicity is it not badly harmed by being in the 8th?

Also I understand for Fixed Stars orbs of less than 15" are used which rarely brings them into play.

I've also read 1' orbs for Fixed Stars.

I wonder if the Moon isn't supported by Dheneb nor Venus by Misam or Alcyone? The later could be seen to be positve if not very so. And the former "a bold, confident, valiant person, never yielding, guilty of bloodshed, of distempered manner,. &c ".

Looks like POF did the job here.

Seems I got tripped up on the 8th and didn't consider the POF, nor some of the Fixed Stars.

So as ever more questions than answers.

Id just like to point out, Venus isnt void. In fact its applying to both Mars and the Moon and therefore cant be void since void of course means that it separates from an aspect and doesnt apply unto another. This usually happens at the end of the Sign but it doesnt have to if other Planets are close to the cusp themselves. That may alter your results a bit.

Id also like to state that Venus, while in the 8th is also in its House (Taurus) and therefore reduces the malevolency of the accidental placement. (8th House being only a -2 points and House +5). These are all things to take into consideration before jumping to the evilness of the placement.
