Any opinions would be appreciated. 1 by Christian Hi everyone! I did this chart for a he asking about a she who wants to know if his new girlfriend is all she makes out to be. Question was "Is she good for me?" Short story... He feels she is someone he could really be happy with, but the feeling is there is something he just can't put his finger on it. She is amazing in her directness and he feels it is good how she is, even though sometimes it can be kind of dominant. Basically, he is afraid to go into the relationship as quick as she does and feels if he does make the decision to move in with her, he will lose his complete lifestyle he currently has. It is by far not all negative, he knows she is a remarkable woman, but making such a big step would mean, moving house, almost certain he would have to find a new job and he would take on a daughter he would have to invest time with of course. I see the chart as very positve, but Saturn, Mercury and the Moon bother me. Any comments? 2 by kerenhappuch Hi Christian, Here at Skyscript everyone is encouraged to post their own interpretation of their chart, rather than just requesting general help. If you post your own thinking, and your own methods and conclusion, then you'll find comments can be more helpful. This applies to your other post too. It'd be good if you could post your interpretation of each chart. Looking forward to discussion. And welcome - this is one of the best places to study traditional astrology. Hope you enjoy all Skyscript has to offer! Keren Quote Tue Apr 03, 2007 4:37 pm
Thank you for the welcome 3 by Christian Actually I posted without wanting to add my comments not to bios anyone into judgment by my comments as I know so much about these people and it is very easy for me to say too much. But, you defintely have a valid point and for future posts I will bear this in mind. Just to reflect, I am not looking for anyone to interpret the chart, only the 3 areas I mentioned and am more than interested in Saturn, Mercury and the Moon and their aspects to one another. Thanks again for the warm welcome and I look forward to peoples comments in this post and others with anticipation. Wishing everyone a Happy Easter Weekend! Quote Wed Apr 04, 2007 9:29 pm
4 by granny_skot I'm confused why do you think this is a good chart? she is venus in her own sign and interested in herself, they are approaching Square? I think you should post your reasoning. I twill be interesting to see. Granny Quote Thu Apr 05, 2007 6:00 pm
Hmmm isnt't every chart interesting? 5 by Christian Not sure by your comment "why do you think this is a good chart?" <<she>> But my question was about Saturn, Mercury and the Moon, not venus? My reasoning? Not sure, do I need a reason to post here other than what I asked? Quote Thu Apr 05, 2007 7:27 pm
6 by kerenhappuch Christian, If you post your reasoning, then it's much easier for other folk to follow your train of thought and contribute positively to the thread. I don't understand why you are shying away from posting your own reasoning? You say you don't want to say too much because you know the people involved too well. This is ok, just try to be as objective as possible when you're describing the chart. Focus on the astrology and I'm sure all will be clear. K Quote Fri Apr 06, 2007 6:09 pm
7 by granny_skot When I put up the chart I get Mars and venus and moon as significators, Not saturn or mercury? since venus rules 7 and is in 7 she has interest in only herself, not your Mars querrant, and they are becoming square, so why do you think this is positive for a romance? is that more clear? and please tell me why you think the chart is positive, I dont see your reasoning. the word reasoning in this context means thinking or understanding,( "verstenhen", Nichts "Warum") Not Why. Is the chart valid? 8 by nomos Hello Everyone; New here, first post, hope I get it right. I was drawn to this topic first by the wealth of technical data of the original post, and then the very succinct reply by granny_skot. Her question: "why do you think this chart valid" prompted me to look. I approached this as 1st House/5th House as, from the way I understand the question, there is no relationship per se at all at this point. It is interesting to me that I get the same answer as granny_skot, but we must wait a bit. Is the chart Radical? Asc 11 Scorp. 10, well into the sign, i.e. no early degree bar. Scorpio certainly a valid descriptor of certain types of relationship. Mars ruling the Asc., direct, not combust at 26 Aquar 31 in the 4th seperating conj. the IC. Ruler of the hour not in conformity with Triplicity of either Asc. or Lord thereof. Asc in the via combusta, Moon is slow, angles are Fixed. The ruler of the Asc. is void of course (VOC) thus perfection is frustrated. No receptions between either of the rulers of the Quesited either so difficult to see how anything is to develope anyway. I can see granny_skots reasoning as to the 7th very clearly and it is amusing to note that when using the 5th house we see the same symbol picture; ruler of the 5th in its own sign and house in the 2nd. I would say the chart was Radical but by any tact is a very clear no. It all depends on the deeper meaning of: "good for me". Thanks; Cheery bye! nomos Quote Thu Apr 12, 2007 12:12 am
a wee bit more on this. 9 by nomos Hello again, Everyone; As mentioned earlier it was granny_skot that got me going on this, she wrote: I'm confused why do you think this is a good chart? She is Venus in her own sign and interested in herself..." Indeed, when you look at the chart, it is difficult to deny that judgement especially with Moon, Almuten of the 7th, in the 11th. Ah, granny, I was wondering; if we looked to the 4th House as "end of the matter" would you say we find the Querent essentially where he started, that is with little or nothing changed? Just a thought. Thanks all. nomos Quote Thu Apr 12, 2007 2:25 am
