Background: Querent has been working from home for 18 months after an accident but the job is now changing as the department is trying to create a new post for the querent whereby they do some work from home but also go into the office a couple of times a week. The querent is very happy working from home and doesn't want to go back!

Will I have to go back to the office?

The querent (1st house) and the job (10th house) are both Mercury which is applying to the Sun and therefore combust which is not at all good. There are no aspects between the Moon as co-signigicator and Mercury. The Moon is Via Combusta which probably accounts for the querents distress over the matter.

As querent and job have the same significator I am a little lost as to how to read this any further. Does anyone have any ideas?

Since i am not comfortable with the feel of wheel chart (i have to draw it in square form to understand) i will give it a quick look.

Apparently this chart doesnt tell of good outcome.

Becuse Moon is in Via Combusta.

No aspect between Moon and L10.

The Lord of angles are afflicted. L1 and L10 combust. L4 and L7 retrograde.

The angles are common (mutable)---Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagiattarius. It indicates a mixed situation where there might be many twists and turns.

But i do see a hope.

I assume that all of this proposal etc came when Jupiter got retrograde. So, it will turn to direct motion on 7th of August.

Moon makes an applying Trine aspect with her dispositor i.e Venus in 10th house. Pray, it may end well.

Mercury combust would be over in few days.

Generally speaking, applying to combustion is the worst of the worst! From this alone we can say the querent is entering a period of upheaval, where he/she will most likely not have their say. (A combust planet cannot be seen!)

The point about Mercury being so close to the Sun made me think that because its combust they will overlook the querent somehow.

It seems after having a meeting with her boss this week, they asked if she would go into the office once every two weeks so she wasn't completely isolated which is more than acceptable to the querent. She was told that her output alone in a day was more than the office output for a week and they were very happy with the situation, this was part of the reason they didn't want to upset the querent as it was working so well for both parties. She was also offered a promotion which is mainly homebased.

I didn't find this a particularly easy chart to read and couldn't squeeze what had happened out of it either!
