Mayweather is the 7th, 21/52 Taurus with Venus in the 8th in Gemini, 21/34. Mercury is in Taurus 18/45, giving Mayweather mutual reception by rulership.
Venus is applying to an opposition with Pluto in the 2nd. An opposition is not just a separation of two parties but also a direct clash between two parties. A fight, if you will. I think this confirms that the chart is radical.
Venus has greater dignity in the chart both by house and elevation. The mutual reception allows Mayweather to get out of any trouble he gets into. Also, Mercury rules the 10th, which symbolizes the honor of the championship.
Jupiter, on the cusp of the 2nd, disposes of Mars. However, it is retrograde and thereby debilitated. The POF is in the 5th, in Aries, which is good for De La Hoya . But, I think Jupiter retrograde tells the story for Oscar.
In my opinion Mayweathers significators simply have better dignity than De La Hoya and he will win the fight.

Florida being the defending champion in the championship game will be the ASC. Ohio State will be the 7th.
The ASC is Libra 26/35 and Venus is in Taurus 19/19 Exalted by ruler.
The 7th is Aries 26/35 with Mars in Aquarius 27/27.
Venus is in the 7th, Mars is in the 4th.
Offhand, this would give Venus the greater dignity and indicate Florida should win.
However, once again, the Moon is in Via Combusta, indicating to me the chart is unpredictable. The POF is in the 6th which tells me nothing.
The 10th house is at 29/28 Cancer, indicating a change in champions.
Because of this, and using reverse logic with the Moon in V Combusta, I will make a prediction of an Ohio State win.

I have found it best to go with the most direct and obvious answers whenever the charts provide them.
The chart always tells the truth if you look for it.
