More relationship horaries

So this weekend I found myself playing in a gay men's rugby tournament, though I am neither gay nor male (long story) but as it turns out, one player on that team, one whom a friend had mentioned wanting to set me up with earlier, is also not gay and very attractive. And now I have quite the crush. Although, I may have complicated my odds by having a very brief and mutually understood as meaningless trist with one of his teammates, which I am not sure if he knows about or not. (I don't know how close these two are other than teammates)

So, I asked "will he and I date?" At 6:48 am, Washington DC, May 21. I get a gemini ascendant with Sag in the seventh house, makingus mercury and jupiter. Both in signs of exalt or rulership, making us on pretty equal footing, both strong. Both in our own houses too suggesting that there is more focus on personal issues than the other person. (Although I had asked ealier "Is he interested" and that gave his significator in the first. There is a seperating opposition and an exact sextile with saturn and merc which also narrowly seperates from jupiter.

Additionally, if the planet the moon last seperated from (sun) is me and the one to which it applies (marrs) is him, our secondary significators are joined by an applying sextile with some recpetion by term and face between them.

However, there isn't a nice clear answer here and I am very puzzled by that aspect between mercury and saturn. Thoughts?

I have to say he sounds cute! But yes, the horary is a bit murky,

I'm no expert at all, but this does look kinda confusing.With both of you in your own houses and signs you do seem to be more interested in your own affairs than getting together... plus the opposition seems to highlight this, in a kinda "tug of war" way.

Moon in the 3rd bodes well for communication between you two .. but maybe you'll both be too caught up with work or your own hectic schedules etc to date? plus i'm not sure if the moon being at 1deg, so early in a new sign is a good thing? (maybe that only applies to Asc, so apologies if wrong.) The fact that it goes to trine Mars (strong in its rulership) to me could imply passion/sex.. but maybe no more than that?

I'd say on the basis of this that at least you're in a strong position... so what you gotta lose? There certainly doesn't seem to be any real bad aspects here, nothing crying out "disaster" so just see if there's any communication from him.. and if not, go for it anyway!

The rule is that if the significators are in angles and in thier own houses or dignified and friends (Mercury and Jupiter are friends) and in each other 9th division (Mercury is in 9th division of Jupiter and Jupiter is in 9th division of Mercury). Then the thing inquired is very much possible, even if the aspect between them is an opposition.

Plus you see that Mercury (you) receives Jupiter in one of his dignity.

Saturn in 4th (regiomontanus 5 degree rule) is collecting lights of both significators.

So, dating is very much possible. The only thing which worres me is that POF and Moon are disposed off by Sun in 12th house. Communication in secret. Thats the key of success in this horary.

It is pretty mixed.

As well as being in a separating opposition, Mercury and Jupiter receive each other into detriment, which seems to imply they have nothing to offer each other, even if they are both good strong people, each in their essential dignity. They have a malefic (in detriment) but strong (if you use the 5 degree rule it is angular) Saturn aspecting both of them. Im not sure if it is a collection of light, or whether mercury is actually collecting the light between Jupiter and Saturn.

Im just not sure how nice that Saturn contact is. Mercury does receive Saturn by triplicity (its a minor dignity like friendship, or you render your virtue on him). Im not sure how good it is for you to receive a malefic though. Im not sure if its showing the relationship with his teamate but it doesnt look like something that will be overly pleasant for you. Unless you can see Saturn in Leo as a description, rather than a malefic.

The Sun and Venus could also be used as generic male/female significators for you and the quesited. Sun is in a weak position in the 12th, but its in your sign. Maybe its all showing a secret sexual interest.

so on the advice/interpretation of STJ, I have decided to lay low and be unavailable this weekend and let a mutual friend do some undercover stealthing for information.

We'll see how this works. I hate having crushes.

Whats so bad about Venus square Pluto? Sounds sexy to me.
