Great thread with a lot of fascinating reading. I've been fascinated with the #33 an hadn't seen this one as a magic square before. What I find most interesting about the Saturn square is that 15 is the number corresponding to the Devil or the Horned One in the Tarot, Saturn=Satan.

15 contains 2 prime numbers. I know, they no longer consider 1 prime but I think of it that way.

The Saturn square contains the 1st 5 primes if you count 1 as prime. This is all of the single digit primes. (can only be divided (separated) by one and itself)

15 adds to 6 which is the 1st perfect number (the sum of the factors equals the number itself)

15x3=45/9. 9 is the only number who's every multiple reduces back to itself, what one started with; 9.

Perhaps the Saturn square contains the key to understanding the infinite along with the fact that energy changes forms but never dies.

I was musing some more about 666 and the sun kamea. It this was used in other pagan religions and even the bible mentions Solomon's 666 units of (sol) gold.

I was reading some article on www.luckymojo.com where they listed 3 theories on 666 and the last was about its solar links. They dismissed this theory because these are also traits of Christ. I got to thinking that maybe that was why this number was demonised. They were competing with the other solar mystery cults and this was a simple case of name calling. See, their resurrected sun god who dies on the solstal/equinoctial cross is really a 7(planets) headed beast of darkness and his virgin/moon/mother is really a whore consort from Babylon. It's just a theory of mine, but it sounds good to me.

You know how sorcerers are always conveyed as working magic by wriggling their fingers at something? Turns out they were using numbers--Agrippa explains that certain hand positions equate to certain numbers. To "list" numbers on the hands rapidly in succession produces the "finger-wriggling" effect.

Agrippa, Book II:

Chapter xvi. Of the notes of numbers, placed in certain gesturings.

"I have often read in the books of Magicians, and their works, and experiments certain, wonderful, & as they seemed to me ridiculous gesturings, and I did think they were certain occult agreements of the divels, by reason of which I did reject them: but after I did more seriously examine the matter, then I did presently understand that they were not the compacts of divels [devils]; but that there lay in them the reason of numbers, by which the ancients did by the various bending forward, and backward, their hands, and fingers represent numbers, by whose gesturings the Magiciand did silently signifie words unknown by sound, various with numbers, yet of great vertue, by their fingers joyned together, and sometimes changed, and did with sacred silence worship the Gods that rule over the world.
