I was recently given a dream assignment overseas...the problem...we need full medical screenings before we can go, and one thing required is a recent Pap and follow up. I have a history of irregular pap which turn out to be nothing. However, occassionally this can be a barrier. I just had a pap done, but I don't know the results yet. I am afraid if it is abnormal I won't get to go. So I asked "Will I get to go?" On august 8, 2:53 pm in washington DC.

I get a very late ascendant of 28 degrees...which I would read as "nothing will come of this" as in, the plans in motion will stay in motion. Especially as the ascendant is about to cross into sagitarius and jupiter is dignified by sign. Also, the packed ninth house of foreign travel further suggest that this will turn out ok.

Additionally mercury, my career significator and mars my significator, receive each other by term....

So hopefully all is well?

As far as my transit chart goes, jupiter enters my ninth house mid month I on the month I am scheduled to leave. (Aug 26, 1980 9:16 pm, Norfolk, VA)

for progressions, progressed mars exactly sextiles my natal jupiter (it's a military posting)

So...would anyone have a different read?
