Hi all:
I love this website and forum. This is my first posting in the horary section and I have a technical and general question regarding reading a chart that I hope someone will answer for me:

I am using Janus 3.0 software. In a horary chart, I have Venus 2:53 Virgo, Sun 2:34 Leo and Part of Fortune, 2:46 Taurus. In the horary chart aspects listed, Janus states that Venus is separating from a Trine to fortuna and Sun is applying to a Square to Fortuna which is what I thought to be accurate, but when I created out a regular circular wheel and grid chart, in the aspects list, it states the reverse, that the Venus Trine is applying and the Sun Square is separating. I only noticed because I was doing a biwheel on the question with my natal chart as the inner wheel.

I am therefore wondering if this is a glitch in the software or if it is supposed to be interpretated differently for a horary chart than a natal chart. I don't recall reading anything on that. As far as I can tell, this should be read as a separating trine by Venus in both charts regardless of the type of chart you're creating.

I am also wondering if the fact that this Trine is separating is an indication of lack of success in the question since the trine is only 7 minutes apart -albeit separating - from exact aspect. I recall Ivy Jacobson often made a distinction if an aspect was applying or separating to a good aspect to fortuna. I can't remember any examples right now.
