Question: When will I learn of the results?

Chart has 21:25 Sagittarius rising.

If one did not know what the question was or the result being inquired about, one could perhaps see what it involved by the planets involved:

Querent is ruled by Sagittarius and is in the 12th House indicating the mysterious or undisclosed nature of the question. Querent is uninformed (in the dark) about the matter inquired about and waiting to hear.

Jupiter in the 12th is conjunct Antares and it just so happens that at the time of this question as well as at the time of the event that led up the question, Querent is/was currently experiencing ?ringing in the ears? (Tinnitus) an annoying condition which has slightly affected her hearing (hopefully a temporary condition).

Jupiter being in Sag., tells us the matter the querent is wondering about is related to 9th house matters. Jupiter is in the end of the matter for the 9th house by being in the 12th. Querent is seeking the outcome of the 9th house matter which is currently undisclosed to her which she is uninformed about.

Mars is the ruler of the 12th house. Mars is in Gemini, ruler of the 3rd house of writing, reports, tests, communications, etc. Mars is located in the 6th house, which is the 10th house from the 9th, which is house of success from 9th and is in its joy there.

Moon is in the sign of Leo in the 8th house, also the 12th house from the 9th house matter. The matter is still not yet disclosed and is still unknown to anyone.

The Moon?s last conjunction tells what the matter concerned about is by looking to the sign the planet over which it last conjoined is positioned in. Here, Moon last conjoined with Mars which is in Gemini which rules the 3rd house matters, which are also ruled by Mercury, the dispositor of Mars. So the matter inquired about relates to a writing or report and communication of some report and its success or failure (being in the 6th - 10th from 9th)

The moon is separating from a sextile to Mars which indicates that the event being inquired about has already taken place.

The moon is fixed in Leo and working in the 8th house. Leo is ruler of the 9th house. The sun ruler of the 9th house is also in the 8th house with the moon and Mercury, again an indication that the results are still unknown by anyone (being the 12th from the 9th, working on the 9th house matter in seclusion and still unknown). Mercury, the natural ruler of the 3rd is also in Leo in the 8th house. Mercury here co-rules the 9th house. All of these placements further point that this is a 9th house matter which querent is uniformed and inquiring about. Also, Jupiter ruler of 1st is separating from a trine to ruler of 9th, Sun again showing that the matter has already taken place.

The matter/result being asked about is the result of an exam taken 3 weeks before question. Querent took an exam which took place over the course of two days on July 24 and 25 and is currently waiting to hear the results of that exam.

The exam ended approximately 3 weeks prior to the question. Here Moon is separating from the sextile to Mars by 3 degrees. Mars is ruler of 12th, end of matter for 9th house, or the end of exam. Also, the Moon was last conjoined with the Querent's ruler, Jupiter, on July 25th, the last day of exam, approximately 3 weeks before.

Querent was told that results usually come out around the 15th of October if past years are any indication of when results might be released this year. So the expected time is near that time. However, here the Moon will conjunct Mercury of reports in approximately 9 degrees or 9 weeks. 9 weeks of the question would be October 6th. Sun, the ruler of 9th will just have crossed the MC by that time and be out in the open. Of course this depends on house system being used so is not really that reliable. This would be earlier than expected by about a week. But at that time, the end of matter 12th ruler Mars will be in the open as well in the 7th house.

Querent probably has already passed or failed since exam scores are scaled with half of the exam graded by person on the essay portion the other half of exam being read by optical scanner (and therefore the die is cast on that part of exam). But querent as well as other test takers are completely uninformed about the matter which should come to light sometime around Oct. 6th or soon thereafter. Results are typically mailed to the test takers and are put online as well, though I am not sure which occurs first. It may be the querent will receive the mailed notice on or by Oct. 6th, before results are posted online later.

The results of the test are indicated here as well - (whether the news will be good or bad).

Any comments corrections on this interpretation are welcome.

The things I was curious about were: is Antares associated with tinnitus (this is how I read your interpretation of this)? and:

I haven't run the chart for this question, but Mercury is combust and the Moon probably is, as well, or Under the Beams; and could you not possibly judge the outcome of her exam from the condition of the significators? E.g. Mars is peregrine in Gemini; the Moon is peregrine (combust?) in Leo. I am wondering whether it is possible to say, 'You did better on the essay part than the questions part'.

The Querent is me! (I thought I had put that in a previous post but it was in a reply to Yashi's question. )

So you wouldn't turn the chart here. Jupiter/Sag. is me. I talk in the 3rd person when I write up my own charts in attempt at objectivity. I'm sure from struggling with your own question, you know how hard it is to be objective when its your own chart you're trying to work up.

As for Antares, Max Heindel who specialized in medical astrology in his Guide for health and healing revealed this. Antares is usually associated with sight, but it can also affect hearing under some conditions.

Interesting about Antares. I too have tinnitus, which is louder or quieter depending on several variables: tiredness, amount of wine I've imbibed, etc.

And in your horary, you too had Jupiter conjunct Antares! It affected my hearing very badly during my test back in July. I couldn't hear what the other people there were saying half the time and finally gave up and just smiled and nodded after a while rather than keep saying
'huh? what was that?' Embarrasing. I hope it goes away soon. I think it may have been caused by listening to my headphones too much in preparation for exam (CD lecture tapes).

Ah, my tinnitus came from standing near the speakers in the mosh pit at the first Lollapalooza in Seattle (1991, maybe? '92?) when 'Ice T and Body Count' were playing. The ringing comes and goes, but is definitely louder when I'm very tired.

Headphones are a death sentence for the hair cells in your ears that help you hear... IMO they should ban them... (she says, having abused them for years...)

A good way to get rid of tinnitus (well, it's possible you'll never really get rid of it) is to deliberately listen to something else in the distance, like the air conditioner or whatever.

So, do you think you can assess the grades you'll get from the significators? I did this for an exam I just took; it said the test would get the better of me, but that I wouldn't come out *too* badly (test was Jupiter, so not much can compete with THAT in the current skies). I got an 86% on the first part, and something similar to that on the second part (haven't got the score yet, but I was allowed to check my own answers).

About the ear phones... I had heard that so always tried to make sure they were not directly covering my ears, a little pushed up to let air and other sounds in. (Would never use those Ipod type ear plugs) But I guess I still over did it or maybe something else is wrong here. I've read on webmd that dental problems, earwax build up (I've ruled that out) as well as medication and as you said wine can affect it.

Re: the question up there... I would think that even tho I was asking about "when I will learn results", that the chart should show if the report will be good or bad since it describes what the querent (me ) was concerned with.

Shortly after the exam, about 30 minutes after, I asked that question: "Did/will I pass?" But I am unsure of what it says. I think its good but there are some bad things there too. I haven't posted it here. Worked on it too long. Have another exam I SHOULD be studying for now coming up in Nov. but I just can't tear myself away from the astrology. Sometimes I wonder if my ninth house is too strong!

? But we also find other weaknesses of a serious nature latent in this horoscope. Uranus is in conjunction with nebulous star Antares in Sagittarius 8 degrees, square to the Sun and Mercury. This implies a grave danger to the sight and also to the hearing because of Mercury being in the Twelfth House. These conditions can certainly be overcome if the ounce of prevention is applied. We take it that because the man is not able to otherwise occupy himself he is an inveterate reader and this will bring trouble if persisted in. ?

I therefore deduced this by the Jupiter in 12th, conjuct Antares (sign where Mercury is in its detriment). I am also experience eye strain from months of study. I imagine you are too from what you say about the amount of work/study you are presently doing.
