Hi all,
I need help with this chart. My brother asked me to do a horary for him - "Should I invest in the business?"
9:55 am, St. Louis Missouri, August 26, 2007

My brother is represented by Libra/Venus on the Ascendant, Venus is in Leo in the 11th house. This business would be a franchise, so he is associated with others in this business. His money house, is ruled by Scorpio, with Mars in Gemini in the 8th house of other people's money and resources. When I look at his 10th/career house, it is ruled by Cancer, with the Moon is in Aquarius/Saturn in the 4th house.

When I look for applying aspects, I see his money (Mars) applying by trine to the Moon - business. I also see that Jupiter is in his second house and it is also applying to the Moon by sextile.

So I say yes, but I'm not sure if I'm interpreting the houses correctly.

Any help/insights would be greatly appreciated.

I got slightly differnet chart with ASC=14Li34.
Ruler of 1st, Verx, in my chart is at 19Le57 in 10th house, describing he is thinking about business.
Ruler of business is Moon at 9Aq14.
His money is Ma at12Ge09 in 9 house (franchise, law).
According to Frawley in this type of question it is most important condition and actions of lord 2nd house.
Here we have Ma only in face dignity, so it is not so strong, and in cadent house anable to act. Ma is in the middle of the sign so there will be no change soon, so he can not expect increase of money soon. Above all Ge is barren sign, and Ma has more hard aspect than easy aspects, so again he will not increase his money soon.
Last Moon's (job) aspect is oposition with Sa, ruler of 4 house, end of matter, so I think the whole "story" will not end as he planed.

Thank you for your analysis. I am surprised by the horary, because he seems to think the opportunity is a good one and he has spent a lot of time researching. But in the end, that is why we do horary -- to get more information.

One note, he did tell me today that it would take anywhere from 6-12 months to make any money from sales that he makes. So, the slow income at the beginning is something he expects.
