Hello all,

I would appreciate any help with this horary question, "Will A. and I get married," 9-4-07, 1:17am, Woodland (Yolo Co.), CA. Asc. 5.18 deg. Cancer, (Regiomontanus) on a Moon day and, if i figured right, a Moon hour.

Some background: A. and I have been very close friends for over 5 1/2 years, we are not sexual lovers, by choice, but we have a strong intimacy in being able to confide in each other and talk freely about everything and anything. We have not come out and said we love each other but the actions within our friendship show that we both have deep feelings for each other. I know I love him dearly and wonder if marriage is a possibility.

Since this is a friendship I am using turned houses. The 11th house of friends (his 1st) is Aries ruled by Mars in Gemini. His 7th house from 11th is Libra ruled by Venus in Leo, retrograde. I am the Moon. The Moon first applies to a sextile to Venus (his 7th ruler) then applies to a conjunction to Mars (his 1st ruler). From this I would say it is yes, we will get married. Is this correct so far, am I missing anything?

The Moon is in Venus' term and Mars' face, I think this means he has feelings for me? Is there any meaning attributed to the Moon and Mars being in the 12th house, which would be his 2nd house?

The last applying aspect the Moon makes is a square to Mercury, ruler of my 4th house of end of matter and in the 4th house. I'm not sure what this means for the end of matter :???: Can anyone enlighten me, please. I also note the part of fortune is in the 4th house in Libra, ruled by Venus, is this good?

I have been studying horary and how to interpret but still not sure if I'm doing it right, any comments and additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ever so much :)

Hi MarG, I suggest you look at the recent threads around friendship and relationships, as I think there have been a couple of similar questions recently.

My only comment at this stage is that if you are thinking of marrying him then he becomes 7th house - you are no longer thinking of him as a friend but as a potential marriage partner, and hence this is a 7th house question.
