I am interested too to reasrch that. I noticed that one of the winner is represented with most strength planet in chart, sign tell about country.
In this year US Open chart we have Me as most strength planet in Vi (Switzerland), in 11 house, south/east, that is for male winner, but female winner was from Belgium, and was represented with Ma in Ge. Mars is not most strength planet, not ruler of chart but may be we have to look only planets in angular houses? I also notice that very often position planet in house is not fit with position of country, so sign in which planet is tells about country at first place.

Twenty20 Cricket world Cup has begun officially on 11th September 17:00 PM at Johannesburg.

I have set a chart of this opening ceremony and got Ascendant Pisces 6 7
with Ascendant Lord Jupiter placed in the 10th house and for me Jupiter is the strongest planet in this chart. I don't know which country is ruled by Jupiter but I know Australia and South Afirca are ruled by Sagittarius as per your website. So I guess the final could be between Australia and South Africa. But in a major upset last night favorite Australia lost the first match against the underdog Zimbabwe. Still two important group matches to come.

I know you are not much intrested in Cricet but it could be a good chart for research. I am trying the colour method to predict the matches because Twenty20 matches are shorter virson and I feel the rules of Football can be applied here as well. So far not much success as I found difficult to fix Asc. Though I will keep trying as I am crazy for cricket as most Indians are.

I would agree with you that country ruled with Ju will win. I do not know which coutry participate in this contest. If both coutry that you think have most chance to win are ruled with Ju, than try to determine wich flag or their sport kit colour Ju in Sag better descibe, or perhaps because Ju is in 10th house (south) maybe that chart intend to tell South Africa perhaps or some country south of Johannesburg?
(For example, Ju and ASc in Pi better describe flag of Australia than flag of South Africa, because flag of S.Africa has black colour and PI and Ju are in no connection with black.)
Infact, you will learn more if you analyse chart after the end of contest and try to determine where lies answers, so next time you would know where to look.

It was neither South Africa nor Australia but by darling country INDIA. India has won the first Twenty20 cricket World cup defeating arch rival Pakistan in the final.
