why was this chart wrong? 1 by cosmicdolphin Hi guys i am going through my archives... i was reading this chart as NO the real answer was YES will I meet X X is my friend's friend. He was soon to be my buisness partner or we would work together on something... nothing romantic 08 Feb 2006 TZ = 8.0 3.04 P.M. 33.12 NORTH 117.13 WEST Woodland hills, california moon / saturn dont aspect saturn in 1st moon opposes venus ruler of 4th house well,,, we met in july of that year any logical explanation? thanks CD Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 2:05 am
by kerenhappuch At the time of asking, was it likely you would meet? Eg. if the Moon is VOC, it can show things "taking their course" - which can mean either yes or no. In the context of your question, if you thought you were likely to meet him, would need to see the chart screaming "NO!!" to judge no. Otherwise we would judge "Yes", as this is the expected outcome. Likewise, if you were not likely to meet him (as in the question "Will I meet Bruce Willis?"), we would need the chart to shout "YES!!!!" to judge yes, otherwise we go with the obvious answer, which is "No". Hope this helps. Keren Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:28 am
by MarkF There's nothing happening in this chart, so there will be no great business partnership or any other kind of partnership. That's not to say that you won't run into him, but that's quite different from an active business partnership, which is what you really inquired about. Mark F Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 2:14 pm
by cosmicdolphin kerenhappuch Yes ... i was prety sure that i was going to run into him in UK moon was not VOC MarkF well we have a business partnership.. we are not running a multimillion dollar gig but it worked out at the end of the meeting i got exactly what i wanted. cheers CD Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 3:45 pm
by kerenhappuch So when you asked the question you assumed you would meet him at some point, and the odds were strongly in favour of a "yes" answer. Hence we would judge "yes" unless the chart shouted "no". Which is tricky, because of course it's nice to have a chart with a clear answer even when we are pretty sure of the outcome I have a couple of relationship charts in my archive like this, including one where the two significators make an aspect but with no reception, indicating they would meet but nothing would come of it (which was the expected answer - the aspect alone did not produce a positive result). 6 by cosmicdolphin kerenhappuch odds? it is not like we are gambling in vegas here.. the question was very clear. Will i meet this person? if horary is like gambling, then most answers should be "NO!" Something could have stood on its way even if the meeting was set up last minute cancellation and etc or my trip could have been postponed. Saturn was in 1st house ... moon in 12th. the last lunar aspect was a trine to mars *ruler of 5th and 1oth" lol i found that wierd. if i am to consider almuten, mars was an almuten of 7th house. if i am to cheat, i would have to say that moon/venus would not be a negative aspect. Strangly enough I reasked the same question in Dublin 2 days prior to me meetng him.. my friend emailed me with a confirmation that the meeting date.. it was showing to no as well. shrug. i have a chart with moon trining saturn *my friend was asking if she would have a dinner with her x" aspect was yes. There was little to no reception. She didnt meet him for dinner but we didnt specify the time period. Ohh MarkF i think i understand what you meant by undertone.. from 1st minute we just clicked. I felt like we have known each other before. but no romantic interest whatsoever. So maybe you are seeing emotional duo somehow .. i can understand where you are comign from. I got moon in cancer in 12th ..jupiter in scorpio in 5th, venus in 7th.. cheers CD Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 5:44 pm
by StarsNYou The one thing that stuck out for me as far as this chart is concerned is the way you described the other person. You called him " A friend of a friend..." In which case, I would not have taken the 7th, but the 11th from the 11th and, You, the Moon are applying to a trine to Jupiter, significator of the friend of a friend...maybe this was the loophole? I must be missing somthing here. Also, how can you say moon and saturn are not making an aspect? The very last aspect moon makes is a SQ to Saturn which shows some delay but a meeting definate nevertheless. 1st rules YOU, 7th (X) rules X. edited: I now realize you are saying that because not in aspect under traditional rules. Modern horary would allow that aspect... RC Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 8:59 pm
by cosmicdolphin RC HUH WHAT? moon is in CANCER .. Saturn is in LEO .. what square! StarsnYou In the chart I named the person but i have no direct relation with him. that could be very well be it... 11th from 11th.. then if you put the chart under the planet ruler of the hour, that doesnt add up and timing is WAY off.. the distance is 14.. well i didnt meet himtill august.. then what is he doing in my 5th house? *jupiter* shrug.. Thanks CD Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 10:13 pm

by RC .... Okay, I just adjusted the year. Saturn - his ruler, is in your first house and retro. Moon, you - are heading towards the first house. It shows him coming to meet you or returning from somewhere back to meet you. If I had not known nature of question, I would have said that this person represented by the 7th house is returning to see you or you would see him again. I had a lot of these when I was single and wondering if I would see Mr. X again, etc. (That was a long time ago when I had wayyy too much time on my hands.. ) Also, when moon gets near the end of her sign of Cancer (as modern astrology would allow), she'll be in close orb of conjunction with Saturn. I don't think you have to have an aspect between the two when one planet comes to the other's house as you have here. But if you wanted one, you do have or will have the semi sextile as confirmation. Saturn being retro leads me to wonder if there had been a previously scheduled or postponed meeting.... But I would have read this as a yes and would have described him according to Saturn's descriptions with the particular placement. RC Quote Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:01 am
by cosmicdolphin RC okay that is interesting.. but we never met! the meeting was never scheduled until end of july when i was in UK it was like hey let's schedule a ameeting when she *me* will be in UK shrug yeah i did notice that if a planet (significator or moon) aspects the cusp of the question, usually it is a yes unless it is interfered/ Thanks again CD Quote Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:27 am
